The 3rd Annual Spring Nationals at Red Dirt Raceway is fast approaching as next weekend will kick off the tracks 2020 race season as well as the season opener for the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Series of Oklahoma next weekend.
Practice/Media Night will be on Friday, March 6th with green flag racing kicking off the season on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, March 7-8
Sprint Series of Oklahoma - (2 barrels and 305's) will run Knoxville Nationals style format with single car qualifying both days. Saturday will pay $700 to win and $200 to start...Sunday will pay $1000 to win and $250 to start...Non-qualifier pay is $100 both days. Sprint car drivers from Nebraska, Kansas and Texas have indicated their intentions to make the trip to compete with their Oklahoma counterparts. This will be the first points race of the season for SSO to kick off their fifth-consecutive season and will also be an IMCA National points weekend for the Racesaver drivers.
Sport Modifieds - Format will be draw in with passing points both days (2 complete shows)...Southern Sport Modifieds, Northern Sport Modifieds, and United States Racing Association (USRA) are welcome. Saturday will pay $500 to win and $80 to start...Sunday will pay $1000 to win and $100 to start...NO ENTRY FEES!
Pure Stocks - format will be draw in with passing points both days (2 complete shows)...Saturday will pay $300 to win, $50 to start...Sunday will pay $500 to win, $50 to start....NO ENTRY FEES
Hornets - format will be draw in with passing points both days(2 complete shows)...Both days pay $100 to win, $30 to start....NO ENTRY FEES
Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series – Format will be draw in with passing points...Standard 2-day purse!
Mini Mods - (Sunday Only)...Draw in and passing points!!!
Fan AND Driver information:
Friday Practice is from 6:00-9:00 PM with gates opening at 5:00 PM. Grandstand admission is free while all pit passes are $20.
Saturday and Sunday afternoon shows will see sprint car qualifying begin at 3:30 PM both days with official race time starting at 4:00 PM both days as well. General Admission is $15.... high school students and younger are $5....5 and under are free.
