Now that Ron and Bruce are gone, does this mean the rest of the crew will continue to run the "Little Red Sucker", or as I would guess, because of the family dynamics in Madera, the funds will soon go away.  If that happens, it will be a sad day.  They made almost every race over these past years, they won championships and were always very, very competitive.  If I am wrong, looking forward to seeing them on the podium at the PAS on the 16th

Where are all of the trouble makers that use to write crazy, insulting comments on this page.  I know, from personal experence, that they have computers in most of the senior citizen rest homes

Here's hoping for a great crowd on the 16th and sure do miss Turn4 Rob and all of his friends and enemys to stir the pot

For an update on Mike Spencer, see the Moose Racing Facebook Page.  Unfortunately the 50 team looks like it has been shut down.  A sad day, no doubt.  Spencer will be driving as a teammate to Jake Swanson in the 92M Car next weekend at Perris Auto Speedway.

Here's the Mooseracing92 facebook post from April 6:

UPDATED 2016 SEASON PLANS FOR MOOSE RACING

As the years go by there is always change. New Young talent appears on the scene, some drivers go by the way side perusing other dreams… some of them retire, and many of our long time cherished family leaves us to be with Our Maker”. With the passing of a great, dedicated, devoted car owner, Ron Chaffin, a large void will be felt throughout the USAC/CRA community, missing his infectious smile and his quirkie hat – on to the absence of the iconic “ # 50, Little Red Sucker. The history of The Little Red Sucker goes back to Ascot days with the Bruce Bromme Sr. at the helm, the tradition continued with Ron coming into the scene as car owner and Bruce Bromme JR, taking control of the wrenches. The absence of the #50 car for sure creates a large void, but also, leaves the 5 time USAC/CRA Champion, Mike Spencer without a cockpit to strap into. Not ready to hang up his helmet, Mike was in the quest to find a new home. Tom & Laurie Sertich of Moose Racing agree that the loss of this extremely talented driver is something the USAC/CRA family does not want to see.

In talking to the Sertich’s “running even 1 competitive sprint car is challenge enough, emotionally and most of all financially, but 2? The Moose’s love and dedication to this sport is endless and has been proven for almost 25 years. But to keep this 2nd car on the track for Mike for the entire USAC/CRA season, they have to reach out and find marketing partners. If you or anyone you know is looking to expand their advertising ventures Team Moose promises to promote you and make you proud.  As it is said over and over, every $$ helps in keeping the cars on the track.
If anyone can reach into their pockets, & contribute any of their hard earned money, every dollar helps.

They hope to make the addition of Mike to Team Moose to be a win win for Mike, Jake, Team Moose and The Numerous Fans.

Keep in mind that Mike being in the 92M car is subject to finding the funding.  Moose Racing has secured the funds for the first race and the remainder is up in the air.  It is expensive to put a competitive car on the track.  The Moose's and Mike are looking for sponship anywhere and everywhere.  Even $5 from a fan in the stands helps keep the car on the track!

  Thank you Tom & Laure,

Sad times indeed. You have done a great deal for this sport I love. Putting Mike in one of your cars shows your passion and commitment to this sport beyond compairison. Thank you.

Ps. This kid will put W's in your '16 season. And, he's a great ambasador as Moose Racing is too!
