Yeah - minus the few hundred people who bought a ticket in Fremont instead of Lawrenceburg. I won't even get started about how some cars were paid to go to Fremont instead of Lawrenceburg because that would just prove my point.

The stands at Fremont are also much SMALLER. The 'burg was plenty packed last night. Whats the point - you people won't shut up regardless of hearing the truth, so forget it.

1h - Kyle Cummins...that one has been confirmed and verified by the guy who paid him. It was called a "one night sponsorship" so I guess its okay then.
The rest are rumors and speculation. I won't comment on rumors and speculation - only to say that there was plenty of chatter in the pits on Friday night about it.

I'm Glad they had a great time. They are great people who built the All Stars into a class organization. It's a shame how their great efforts to build a fine racing group has fallen.

The AllStars use to be some of my favorite shows of the year, but over the last several years they don't get my money any more. They ran around 30 shows all year long at a handfull of racetracks, it's not the series it used to be. As for griping about paying sprints to show up, thats a game they know as well as anyone.

People, whatever happened to being civil toward one another? I am so tired of all this bashing that is going on right now. My gosh ... is anyone happy any more? I thought racefans along with the racing community were supposed to be one big happy family that supports one another through thick and thin. The personal attacks, the negative crap posted regarding this series or that series, it ALL needs to STOP and NOW! It doesn't do the sport any good to gripe about this or that or attack others for what they believe in. The All Stars will go on as will the WoO, ASCS, and others. If you don't like somebody or something, that's fine, you don't have to like everything. This is America afterall. I don't believe arguing and attacking our fellow citizens over trivial matters is really what America is about. Please ... can't we all just get along and try to have a good time?

It's a shame that we all can't get along. I personally love all sprint car races, winged, non-winged, sanctioned, or non-sanctioned. I'm just happy watch them race. I also complain, but the bottom line is it's all good, just some nights are better than others. I have been going to the Knoxville Nationals since the mid-seventies and this year wasn't the best but times have changed and so has the equipment and that makes one he** of a difference. I've made it to 38 races so far in five states and there isn't very many left to go that are very close. Central Illinois just isn't a hotbed for sprintcars anymore. As jsfan has said why don't we just get along and support these guys who do there best to entertain us.

I am glad to see there are still a few people around here who "get it". Too bad most of the complainers never will "get it". When you bash a team or a series, you bash everyone involved with that team or series. Less and less people are willing to even help do anything anymore because they don't want to be picked on by some of you people. It makes me want to just say forget it a lot of times, too - but then you have won and I am too stubborn to let that happen. I just think of the many people who don't sit here and complain week after week who just enjoy going to see a good race. I still make an effort for those people. The rest of ya - well...lets just stop there.

Give me a break....what about bashing and/or talking crap about a track, is that ok? Or is it only ok when you agree with it? after all, wasn't this post started positively about both races until you added your little comments?
Classic....

Right...because I am never provoked into making statements that reflect the truth in the politics of this sport and all the bullsh*t that comes along with it. Most people never get to see the stuff that goes on behind the scenes. You are better off not knowing.

Swamp - Anyone who disagrees with you is bashing or complaining? My point is the all stars have went from 70 races a year to 30.Yes I realize there are politics and bs .I realize the All Stars lost some races at Eldora after Tony took over and at Sharon after Blaney took over , and that was not the all stars fault .But what about Mercer ,KC ,Pennyslvania Motor,Kokomo, Lima ,Bloomington,I 96,Fremont and others that had races or more than the have now.Why would all these tracks quit having All Star races after webb took over?I wonder Why?.As Far as the behind the scenes crap we should all just listen to you because we are all to dumb to get it or have any idea what goes on!!! P S i am a fan of any kind of sprint car racing i just get sick of hearing how no one knows anything but you

You must be one of those "informed" individuals then. So why are you asking me what happened with all those tracks. Please tell me. I know the answer. Do you? Its not because of who owns the series as much as you want to believe that to be true.
I'll hang up and listen to your response.
