What was the purse for 2015? Did they drop the purse for non regulars? Or did they raise the purse for those who choose to support the series 100%? Truley just curious.

raised the purse for those who choose to support the series 100% is all they did (and the Press Release says MINIMUM PURSE for 100% participation and MINIMUM PURSE for non 100% cars).

The standard purse is the MINIMUM that those that choose to not follow the Series will get paid (it says nothing about the track not being able to raise that).

I would be surprised if they're any different then Knoxville rules, which I believe are the same as ASCS.

does the "100%" mean the racers WILL NOT RECEIVE the extra 2K winner's share until they COMPLETE THE ENTIRE SEASON with 100% attendance?

otherwise...how will the NSL know who is dropping off the tour on the following week?

Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

Thanks for the info!

so what is with all the negativity? He didn't cut the original purse he just add to it for those who support him 100%. Everyone was happy with the purse this year so what's the deal? Mad because those who choose to spend there money and time to show up to all the races are getting a incentive? People really need to step back and think abouts this before bashing it. This is a cool and smart thing to do. IMO

Anything that takes this much explaining might not be a good thing.

Just a few thoughts:

Im not a fan of Husets switching to Saturdays, but they are paying $5000 to win every week, 100% participation not required. I still got to believe that is going to draw some cars?

This 100% participation is very demanding and I just wonder how many cars can, or will, do it, and if they will even think its worth it?

Also, if this $100,000 Silver Dallor Shootout goes on as advertised at Husets, will all, or most of  the potential 100% participation 410's really not show up for this race? Could make fore a great payday for a low budget local. I cant see all the big dogs not showing up and letting that happen.  So then of course, if any of them do chose Husets on this night, then the 100% participation is null and void for the rest of the summer.

Badlands just implemented a tow money option for every 410 racer of $1.50 per mile, up to $400.00

And how long will that and the purse stay the same if he is not selling enough $20 tickets to pay all that without dipping into his own pocket? Better get a fairy big number of 410's with some quality teams as well to get & keep people paying $20 for 410's, 305's and street stocks on a regular Saturday night.

When I see street stocks on the card there had better be a damn good sprint car show along with them or I will not go.

twenty bucks is standard in my neck of the woods for 410 show and it doesn't usually come with street stocks. they are getting a sweet deal.

IMO Husets us not worth $20 to get in to watch 3 classes at that price I would rather go to Jackson for the IMCA show or go to Knoxville for a true sprint car show instead of 5-10 real 410's at Husets.

Agreed, I think what Chuck is doing is incredible. But can it last?

I am more curious how long the Jackson plan can last.  That's a $50,000 purse for 11 Fridays this summer, in a town with 3500 people.  I know that a lot of Sioux Falls fans will head that way, but he needs over 2000 paid every Friday just to break even at a $25 ticket.  That is pretty aggressive.  Badlands has almost 10 times the number of people to draw from within 30 miles as Jackson does.

Valid question. Are you counting the money taken in at the pit gate in that 2000? I would also assume that he has some sponsors to help with the purse, but you know what they say about assumptions...

I don't think it will be a huge problem for Tod and Jackson. In the past when the racing was good the stands were nearly full. There are a ton of starved, passionate sprint car fans within a 1 hour drive from Jackson. They will migrate back now that a good show is again taking place.

AND WITH THE NEW STANDS EVERY ONE WILL BE COMFY. I CAN SEE FRIDAY NIGHT WORKING GOOD FOR JACKSON, BUT IT SUCKS FOR ME AS I HAVE FREINDS THAT RUN IMCA THAT I LOVE WATCH WITH THEM ON SATURDSAY NIGHT. I CAN AFFORD 1 NIGHT A WEEK NOT 2

Hardly National. Like how they ripped off Petty's series old name for a local group. Not very original.
