Apparently they had a squabble after the ChiliBowl A Main last night.
Anybody know what that was all about ?

Wondering the same thing myself. I don't recall seeing them near each other during the race. I do recall Kevin making contact with him and thorson during the yellow. There was a ton of people right there in the scrum after the race, somebody had to have heard something.

Larson was upset that Sammy got into one of his teammates. He made comments about it on twitter. Waaaa, young choker. He was really probably more upset that he stepped on his own winkie twice, all by himself, lol. Nice run by the Swindells as always.

Although I wasnt in attendance last night,,,I have been to every ChiliBowl for the past 6-7 years.
My take is this.......Sammy is a great driver, and I will give him props for all that he has accomplished,,,
HOWEVER, it seems to me that he just expects other drivers to move over for him just because he is
Sammy Swindell...
He wants to get in there and race hard, bumping his way to the front. He can dish it out, but he cant take it.
As I said....that's my opinion and I'm sure not everyone is gonna agree.

Funny how Earnhardt could wreck people at 200mph but cried when he got a payback yet was still Mr. Wonderful to so many fans. Sammy's never gotten that slack.

Sammy can take it. I'll never forget a couple of years ago at Knoxville Nats, I think Fri, nite, Wayne Johnson put him into the wall, Sammy made about 5 corrections in a second riding the cushion, & still passed Wayne at the finish
Haven't been following this stuff for long enough to know about Sammy's past transgressions, tho I've heard plenty....

There was more than one driver on twitter calling out Sammy.

It was hard to tell by watching on TV, and I probably missed something, but it seemed to me that the hardest contact Sammy made with another car last night was with Kevin's!
When in doubt, gas it!!

Sammy got out of his car and was on a mission and his target was Bell. The official's literally made a wall with one big boy in the lead and started pushing Sammy away with Sammy puffing up saying, "don't push me". They ignored him. For you guy's on face book, the video is on Kevin Eckert's Facebook page.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

That's one reason Sammy will be missed. Sports is drama and Sammy gave us all every dollar of that and for that I remain a fan. I'm just happy that at 59 he's still relevant and has the passion. I hope he got the juices going last night and feels like jumpin' in a sprint car again and raisin' hell. GO EL SAMBO!!!!

I think the only car Sammy didn't touch last night was Rico's. It started when Sammy roughed up Thorson in B main for 2nd. Thorson didn't like it and let Sammy know it on cool down lap after B. They continued it in A main. Sammy drove rough and so did everybody else. Everyone was taking and no one was giving. There is nothing wrong with that and made for a great race. The main issue in all of this is Sammy gets too hot when it happens to him and goes after people under caution. Years ago Sammy could get away with that. Now, no one is gonna take his crap. Not the other drivers, especially not the new generation, and not even the officials anymore.
At one point when Sammy got up to 3rd (mostly due to attrition) he drove up beside Rico under caution, apparently thinking he was gonna intimidate him. The race went green and Sammy went backwards. Sammy needs to understand, no one is intimidated anymore. They're all gonna give it right back.

Seen this movie too many times......Sammy is involved in controversy, and at the Chili Bowl. I'm shocked.

I wonder how Sammy sleeps at night knowing how upset he makes people. How many boxes of Kleenex has he sold over the years?

They might not be intimidated but when any Chili Bowl participant is asked who they feel is gonna be tough to beat, it's always the Swindells. Must be doin' something right.
And the Sammy haters will say how much he bumped cars last night, but I was watching and I don't think there was a car on the track that didn't touch another at one point. But haters will hate on Sammy just like the other greats in racing. It's been that way forever....Sammy, Steve, Schatz, Gordon, Earnhardt Sr, it never changes. Oh well, makes for some comical posts from the haters. Keep'em coming haters, lol.

And I gotta say how appropriate that Thorson finished in front of Sammy...
