Race # 2 Saturday Jan 3rd 2015--1ST $ 12,000 / 2nd $ 6000 / 3rd $ 3500 ----- $ 1000 TO START
Race # 3 Tuesday Jan 6th 2015--1ST $ 50000 ------------------------------$ 400 TO START
Race # 4 Friday Jan 9th 2015 ---1ST $ 12,000 / 2nd $ 6000 / 3rd $ 3500 ------ $ 1000 TO START
Race # 5 Saturday Jan 10th 2015 1ST $ 12,000 / 2nd $ 6000 / 3rd $ 3500 ------ $ 1000 TO START
WIN all 5 Races = $ 53,000 in Earnings
Qualify for all 5 races = A Minimum Earning of $ 4400
Drivers will start each night by drawing a random pill, which will determine the lineups for the heat races. Passing points will be calculated based on the results of the heats. The qualifiers will have an inversion, which will be based on car count. The combined points earned through the heat races and qualifiers will then determine the feature lineups.
“This format really equals things out,” Burgess said. “In many cases track conditions can vary by as much as two or more seconds from the beginning to end of time trials. Going early or late in time trials can pretty much dictate how a racers night will go. Adding the qualifiers after the heats essentially eliminates the luck of the draw. With the combined points from both heat races and qualifiers, the drivers will have to race their way into the feature.”
The format also provides spectators multiple opportunities to cheer for their favorite drivers, who will be on the track for at least hot laps, a heat race, a qualifier and a feature.
OBVIOUSLY Donny Schatz WON'T be there as hes Scheduled to race in Australia

5 race nights in a week at one track in the middle of the offseason with an average purse of 10,500 to win and 900 to start... I would have to think the pits will be jam packed with cars and high caliber drivers.
This could be as big a deal as the old Slick 50 series was...
Hey MavTV..... how about some live coverage of all 5 nights...or at least a couple days tape delay... lets keep filling my DVR plum full all winter long please...haha
Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.

As of 11/13, they have 43 committed drivers and another 5 teams that will be there but do not have the drivers listed yet. I'm pretty sure Shane Stewart will also be there but isn't listed.

It's a nice track and facility and I think this may be a big event.

That sounds really good. Killa lineup. My question is, what are track conditions like out there in the desert? Seems like thats the #1 factor in good racing....

I've been there a couple of times and the surface was good both nights. That time of year it should be in the 60's during the day and 30's at nignt, so it should hold up fairly well.

Average weather that time of year is 70-75 daytime and 40-45 nights. If the races complete around 11 pm it should still be around 55-60 degrees.

Hey GB: Are all the guys you listed committed for both weekends? I'm thinking of going for one weekend, can't really afford both....Do you know which drivers might only do one weekend?
