As many of you already have heard or read my pop bill willis passed away Dec-14th. He had another heart attack and while in the hospital being treated for pain he had another one yet for a total of six major heart attacks, and that last one would be the beginning of the end. My dad raced CRA back when it was the california roadster association and before the advent on roll bars. He and i love sprint cars and travel to many of the out of town races together and i miss him dearly. I want to thank Rob (turn4rob) for posting the news for me as the last few weeks have been well difficult. We had a memorial service planned for the 11th. of January (originally Jan 4th) but as it's taken longer to arrange we lost that date and pops birthday is Jan 17th and i didn't want it near that date we had to put the memorial on hold for now.We will try for febuary late in the month if possible. I'm trying to get ahold of the alexander racing team, especially mark,he and my dad had become friends a few years back, and i would like them to (as they did ray sheets) scatter my pop around Perris Auto Speedway where we spent many nights together and made many new friends. My pop was fond of saying he was a made member of the turn four rob mob.. I will try to do this at the first race and if not for sure by the second race. If you would like to send your well wishes or anything else you can email me at [email protected] or if your a friend rob has my phone number and he can pass in on...Thankyou all for your kind thoughts, words and friendship before and during this time,it's tough enough to loose a parent but even tougher when that parent is also your best friend.....Sincerely Greg Willis....akafrownson of old fart)        PS: I will let everyone know when we set a new date for the memorial.

Sorry to read about your fathers passing.  I know I saw him at the races quite a bit and I am not sure I ever was introduced to him but he sure did seem like a very nice person!  We will keep you and your family in our prayers!
