three most important....the kings royal, (on the 135mph high banked 1/2 circuit), the doty classic, and the nascar trucks
pa speedweek on my calender for next year, staying in York..
tulare opener, mini gold cup, placerville, the gold cup chico, the dirt cup skagit, 360 nationals elma, KWS at the grove, speedweek oregon , the vermille classic @ stoga, (some of the best racing i've seen lately) and various others that my old mind can't remember..
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

Spent every Saturday night calling races at Petaluma, so 20 shows after rainouts. Then:
Ocean Speedway (4 nights)
Placerville (2 nights)
Chico (7 nights)
Ukiah (son rides a flat track motorcycle, 7)
Stockton (2 nights)
Calistoga (2, both nights of the Vermeil Classic)
Marysville (1 night)
Tulare (3 nights of Trophy Cup)
Canyon Raceway (3 nights)
So 51 nights of racing and it feels like I'm leaving something or somewhere out of this deal. No Kings, Antioch, but hope to get to them sooner than later in 2014. Also had 3 tracks in 3 days 3 times with Watsonville Friday, Petaluma Saturday and Ukiah Sunday.
Ted Finkenbinder asked me the other day if all we do for this racing crap is worth it, to which I answered, "Every bit of it." - Ron

Now that is funny! As far as whether it's all worth it or not goes we better hope that guys like Ted Finkenbinder think it is because that guy has been fielding cars for over 30 years! I think guys like him have to love it because I don't think any of em' are in it to get rich.
