One word, AWESOME! When I seen the R19 show up for practice I knew he had a great chance of winning the feature and time trials as well. Scott Winters was the 2003 Arlington Raceway Imca Sprint Track Champion so he knew the track well. Scott ran 14 second laps and won the time trials. He then started in the 2nd row of the Feature and blew past the top 3 cars and had a half a lap lead on 2nd place #85M Steve Meyer before the caution. Winters went on to take the Win with Meyer 2nd and a #11 car 3rd. Congrats Scott and hope the Ira will be back in the future.
Other Feature Winners
Hobby A Winner was Rodney Manthey #11
Hobby B Winner was Brad Becker #38b
Stock Car Winner was Dan Mackenthun #92
IMCA Sprint Car Winner was Jason Tostenson #66

Scott really put on a show - great racing. Speaking of putting on a show, Thanks to Bob and Susan Allen for working to bring in the IRA to Arlington. Hope you make it an annual event. You have a full house tonight - can't beat that.
