The gentleman from Chicago that held the meeting a couple of weeks ago was not able to obtain the funding to purchase the track. But there is a new buyer and the papers will be signed tomorrow for the sale of the track. The long time promoter of KSP will be promoting the track. It will run on Friday nights and run the same classes and rules as Lawton.
Get the word out that dirt racing will finally return to Wichita Falls!

I kinda figured the deal with the guy from Chicago fell through because after the meeting they had no one said anything on FaceBook about it but they were sure on FaceBook talking about it before the meeting.
I sure hope this is true and correct. I also heard this from a reliable source so I'm thinking its actully gonna happen and I think it GREAT!!!

i dont know for sure yet about if its ricky snider, but i do know that if it is, it will be a great thing. ricky promoted 2 tracks that i raced at in texas before moving back to oklahoma. he ran 281 speedway in stephenville, and kennedale speedway in kennedale. he ALWAYS HAD GREAT RACING SURFACES, EXCELLENT CONCESSION STANDS, AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM GETTING FANS IN THE STANDS. he is recognized with IMCA, and i would pray that he BRINGS IMCA RACING TO WICHITA. if that happens I WILL DEFINATLY make the trip down there EVERY FRIDAY to race for him. i know he ALWAYS HAD GREAT BIG SHOWS and YEAR ENDING SHOWS. this guy KNOWS HOW TO RUN A TRACK.
