He makes Will Power, Nelson Piquet, Jr., Kasey Kahne, Brad Sweet and Denny Hamlin look like they are sitting still.

Thats a wheel man. Sears Point and Watkins Glen won't know what hit them.

An amazing feat but, following the helmet camera, I think he spun. Now, he might have done that on purpose just to get someone to run with. lol A great video.

I wish we had an outdoor kart track like that in my home town. I would buy one of those karts for an after work hobby.

All that video is, is an 8 minute practice session. It was not a race. To have been a race you would have seen a 2x2 slow paced green flag start.
Scott Speed and "Dinger" would have it all over most of them anyway. Those are just high spped fun karts, probably parilla 125's with a dry clutch.
I would like to see the same group in 125 shifters.

Larson also stated on his twitter that he was 30-40 lbs light. Does that make a difference?

Sure, Larson passed a bunch of NASCAR & Indy Car & sprint car drivers, but could he win a match race against international karting star Willie Champagne?

30 to 40 lbs. light would put him in another weight class. All kart races have a minimum weight. you can be over ( not competitive) but you can't be under weight.

I've been goin to many forms of racing for over 40 years and this frickin kid is the best wheel man I have ever seen. How can you not view the above you tube video and not smile at this amazing talent! I had the opportunity to see his God given gift a few times over the past few years and am very thankful to have seen this kid in action. Be safe kid and rise to the top in whatever form of racing you decide to perform in....kick some ass!!!!

I don't mean to take away for Kyle's accomplishments. He is the best to come along in a long time. It appears that he will have success in what ever form of motorsports he chooses in the years to come.

They were not fun karts they are 125 Rotax Arrow Sprint Karts. The Rotax World Finals are in Texas this year and they are the engines used. The Rotax World finals will bring together the best of the best from all over the world racing these Engines and Karts . Kyle Larson wouldn't look out of place.

Many times they cover the radiator to get more heat in the engine. At the kart track by my house, I see them doing that quite a bit.
