I was wondering if Jason Sides was penalized for pulling out of line and ahead of the pace truck when the 1 to go signal was given? Steve Kinser was sitting in the work area and it was ruled they got the tire changed in time...Still don't justify Sides holding up the show intentionally!!!

To point out to the outlaw "officials" that there was glass still on the track? Do you think 5-8 tires just decided to go flat?
I did, however, hear a bit a bias from someone sitting in the booth. His loud mouth and comment of "He had better not start that shit again" that was directed at Sides. There have been SEVERAL times that he has spotted debris on the track that could possibly have been embedded in someone's tire or, God forbid, in their cockpit.
Why not just say thanks, Jason, for making them clear the track. It was already announced that Steve was ready to leave the work area anyway...

That's weird because they never stopped them to clean up the "glass still on the track". They announced Kinser didn't have the tire changed in time first then Sides ran in front of the pace car when they were getting ready for the green. Then they said Kinser did have his tire changed in time but he would have never made the restart if Sides didn't do that. Then Sides rolls around out of line on the restart and messed up everyone behind him.

So what! glass or no glass it doesn't matter, but it helped make the show better,if they started Steve 24th every night it would be okay, just watch him drive thru all the competition it helps the show, thats what we buy tickets for,it is what it is I have no problem with it at all.Way to go, Jason and Steve, how many flats did they have after they got up the"glass"?

Haud was the class of the field until he ran out of fuel?????? Sides clearly was stalling for his buddy Kinser to allow him time....Kinser is one of Stewart's drivers???? When Earl ran the track there was NO FAVORTISM as he treated the low buck the same as the big buck...Stewart has made some great improvements to the facility but the track has been s**t since he took over...I would like the cost of all the fireworks to go to the purse structure for all the divisions

With daylight saving in effect, doesn't make a lot of sense to light fireworks when the sun is still out. ?????
Maybe it is talked about at drivers meeting, but maybe they should mark where the "work area" is. They said Blaney was DQed because he was out of the "work area." It must have been just a few feet, but who could tell?
Still, the night was one to remember. Don't see those too often.

Pointing out glass my ass. If Sides was that concerned about something on the track he would have stopped and shown them. And they did restart without anyone picking up anymore glass. He was stalling time and delaying the restart plain and simple. Sides should have been black flagged!!!!! If it was a safety issue the officials would not have a problem with him holding up the show ,,,he should of stopped and pointed out the debris!!!!

According to the broadcast last night Gibson said that a piece of debri flew up and broke one of the track lights and the glass fell on the track. It does make you wonder abit why there were so many cut tires. Like Blaneys was on the front right and you can see in the video it was just slow leaking as he pulled off it was only half down, on the other hand maybe it had nothing to do with it.

Yep... your ass... Do you ever listen or go to the races? Ever heard how many times the officials had opened the track after a mishap and Sides found radius rods, torsions stops, tire chunks and other debris on the track?
He has stopped before because they could not see it until he damned near touched it... The drivers, almost unbelievably, have the best seat in the house and see things in the track....
There are many ways to stall a restart without pulling in front of the pace vehicles...
Why do I bother? I'm sure it's over your head...

I was at the race Friday night at Eldora were you? Sides held up the show. Tell me why the track crew never even went back out on the track during this ordeal to find the debris you claim Sides was delaying the show for??? If Sides was pointing out debris the crew would have atleast looked for it.By the way don't bother untill you know the facts!!
