Listed above is my ranking system for which night is tougher, Red worth 3 points, Orange, 2 points, and Yellow 1. Shocking as it seems Thursday night is the harder night to qualify with 36 points and Wednesday has 32.
Let me know what you think, and I'll try to defend my picks or possible change them if you make a good argument.

I'd give at least one point to Darrah since he went quick time the last time he ran Nationals.

The heats on Thursday will be loaded. So I would say Thursday is going to be the harder night to score points.

Thursday has a deeper field, so high points totals may be hard to come by but the track is always narrower on Wednesday, making it harder to pass in the heats.
My top five on Sunday morning: Sammy wins over Schatz, Meyers, Dollanksy, Stewart.

Only two guys have stood atop the podium in the last 3 nights of winged 360/410 sprint car racing in Iowa. Both of those guys have the initials SS. But only one of those guys was successful in putting his mount on the podium at the 2010 Knoxville Nationals and has made every A-main for the past 10 years. Me thinks the Rockstar should be in the red.

I also don't think Austin McCarl should be in orange. Yellow at best, and that's still being generous.

Austin being ranked the same as Dusty Zomer is ridiculous. Zoom Zoom has been on a tear lately and is the local man to beat at Knoxville.

I agree orange for McCarl was a little crazy now that i'm looking at it. Darah had quick time a few years ago, he doesn't deserve a point for it.

giving a point to Kenny Jacobs might be a bit of a stretch too. Only raced two nights in the last couple of years with a team that was just put back together 2 weeks ago. I know they're trying to catch lightning in a bottle, but if the Mouse puts it in the C they should consider it a successful trip.

A McCarl doesn't deserve 2 points. 1 point maybe and that's still iffy.. But id give Justin Henderson atleast 1 point. He's been really good as of late in PA. He's won at Knoxville in way less equipment that he also got 10th in the nationals with. He also would of been in the b and probably coulda transfered out of the b to the a if they didn't have fueling issues on qualifying night in his hear race. So I'd say 1 point at least.

What night is Tim Keading qualifying? Flying in from San Jose. My one week a year to take in as much racing as my wife can stand!
Thanks!

Still not very high in the points. Will probably start towards the back of the A Saturday unless tomorrow night is a disaster.

agree 100%. When you go out 35th in qualifying, and can only put it mid-pack in the numbers, thats bound to happen.
Those early draw guys are fortunate they didn't award passing points. The King and his family had to be beside themselves finishing where they started and watching a no-name team blow by 'em......again

Yeah, track did go away but the 15H and 11 still put in top 10 times going out late.
BTW, saw another variation of the Rockstar 57 had a pretty big win last night. Tell TJ congrats.
