Did Knoxville use a pill draw last night, or did they just invert the top 12 qualifiers?

They went with the old system of drawing for the invert. It was said they will do the redraw from time to time...

I cannot confirm this but when they draw for an invert, it is my understanding there are four 12s, three 10s, two 8s, and one 6. Thanks for no rubber down.
Rome wasn't built in a day......but they sure didn't
waste any time burning it down!

Yeah, probably when it benefits the Douche, er Dude. C'mon Knoxville, just get it over with already and declare him the 2011 track champion now. You' re handing it to him anyway.

You are correct. Now I know what's going on now that I'm in the press box nightly. After Dude qualified 15th, Cap, Steve Sinclair, Stacy Ervin, Tony Bokhoven, the scorers and I put our heads together to ensure that the invert that quick-timer Kevin Swindell would draw out of the bag would be 12.
Finally, during the Anthem/prayer we made sure a minimum of three drivers that had out-timed Lasoski would miss their heat transfers. It worked to perfection! Some of those drivers just laid over, and received their checks after the races!
Now you know, Douche, er Dude, er NKC!

I have a question how did Schatz and Zemken make the 10 hour trip from Eldora to Knoxville and have time to make the show. Does not seem possible time wise.

It's stupid that they are gonna change it up from night to night, pick a format for the season and stick with it. By switching it every week it makes it confusing for fans, you don't know what the hell is going on. My suggestion is that they qualify like they do now, totally invert the heats, then just line the cars up 1-16 by times of who qualified from the heats.

JZ was planning on running K-ville. Donny flew in with either his aircraft or Smokes. He landed in Knoxville at 7:10.

That seems fair to me. Inverting twelve is basically punishing those who qualify good and make it through their heat in a transfer spot. Or at the very least use an even number of pills... i.e four pills of each invert number.

Inverting 12 for a 15 lap A in the 360 class is very difficult penalty for being fast time...

Personally I think the 360 race should go 20 laps anyway, expecially with an invert

Bill W.,
You, Stan Meisner (I apologize if I got the spelling of your last name wrong, Stan), and Chuck (Sprinter 25), crack me up.
The 3 of you consistently have some of the most intelligent, well thought out, and wickedly sacrastic/funny responses on this board. I never miss reading what the 3 of you have to say. I'd love to spend an entire day locked in a room with the 3 of you and hear what you have to say about sprint car racing - past and present.
Keep up the good work guys. You have at least a one man fan club.
And Bill W., keep getting The Dude on the front row every week. It'll drive people crazy! LOL!
