Seth Wilsons Tumble at Victorville. This was shot from Turn 1 and sounded really violent. The best for a speedy recovery...

I have a 19 image sequence from Seths flip. To give you an indication of what that means, I usually get 4 or 5 images of a rollover. The images particularly of the landing give you an idea of just how hard that crash was. That was one extremely long violent flip.

The landing was the particularly tough part - the last frame basically shows how it landed almost flat on all four wheels and came close to a dead stop (it kind of did a half roll after that which dissipated some of the impact, but still...). It reminded me of Tim McCreadie's Chili Bowl flip a few years ago. Based on what I saw and how long Wilson was on the ground getting worked on, I was thinking that the chances of a serious back injury were pretty high.

Not that a broken kneecap is good, but I wouldn't have been shocked if the injuries would have been worse.

I will do a couple of dirty edits of the end of the flip from where I was and post them...

Saturday night race @ victorville was great! It was really cold, but at least it wasn't raining. The stands were packed with people. It was so awesome to see, everything at the victorville track seems to be improved from last year. Overall, good racing Saturday night especially Ricky Gaunt getting pissed off with Cardey. That definitely made my night! Finally someone shows Cardey what's up. Go Ricky!!!

Mike Collins is one of the nicest people out there. He has used his company, "HUBCAPMIKE.COM" to help fund one of the best Racing schools out there. Perkins Family Racing...... I myself have had the pleasure to meet mike at victorville the last couple of years out there and have nothing but nice things to say about this man... Check out his website and give a shout out to one heck of a guy..... Love ya mike.
