WTF - the 6 would have hit the wall on its own if the 5w wouldn't have been there!

SO??? What does that mean? She caused one of the worse flips I have ever seen, regardless of what her name is. I'm just thankful Lucas is OK.

Even if she didn't know he was coming, where exactly was she going if he wasn't there? Not sure any driver should need a flag to tell them not to make a direct right turn at the end of a straight.

Lets start all the fast cars in the back and try to past the slow ones
That costs a lot of money
I Will bet Lucas hopes you do that all the time

I'm just guessing after watching the video a few times but, it appears to me that she might have had an issue in turn 4 and then was trying to get back up to speed and in the race line when the contact occured. Not the smartest move obviously but, I'm sure that most of us can only imagine how quickly things happen when you're strapped into the seat.
Glad to hear that Lucas was ok after that one.

Glad Lucas was ok.
Watching the video, it looks like Dan had a pretty good view of the crash.

I have been to many GSC races this season and by no means am I a Danielle Simpson fan. Every race I have watched she has taken someone out or wrecked her self but she is a rookie and daddy has alot of money.. I am glad that there is a extra car out there on the track but she needs Lots more experience before she runs the gold cup thats my take.. for crying out loud she cannot finish in the A main on a GSC night what makes her think she can run the Gold cup and be successful....

LOL You do know that Lucas spent the first several years of his career racing under a format that did exactly that, right? IMO, if you want to watch the fast guys start on the pole every race, some of the southern Late Model sanctions can certainly accomodate that.

What you dont see at the end is Lucas taking out a tree, the same size as the one in the background. The #5 team had a few choice words with the #6up car after that one.

I too was not there and it's hard to tell from the video, but could she have been trying to leave the track? One of the 2 track exits is right at the end of the front stretch over turn 1.

from what we are hearing here - let me be the first to suggest she gets that POS off the track and stays there.
