How are they rewarding points for the Gold Cup? Are they only giving show up points? I am asking because they are no longer splitting the field for preliminary nights.

A few weeks ago someone on the NOR-CAL board mentioned separate three-night races.
Will be interesting to see the car count.
Hope one of "our guys" can get a win.
BRR and CUBIC might cut me some slack then!

ha ha ha! Very doubtful. A CA regular hasn't won since 1980 Johnny Anderson and Hanestad won it on a Sunday, due to rain, and I believe the heavy hitters had to leave town. They had to be somewhere else.

TK has run a lot of laps there. If he can keep from wadding his and someone elses car up, he might have a chance. Seems as if he is driving out of control most of the time.
