Please calm down Jimmy and others- this keyboard commando stuff is not good for this sport you are so passionate about.
Thanks to all for the support - I am doing what I can to save racing in this spot of Oklahoma.

This topic will be suspended after this post - says me.
We are forgetting that it was another really good night of RACING at Enid as the racers put on a real good show all night. Yes there were drivers who got out of control but all in all, it looked like a success on the track of dirt track racing.
I thought the crowd was bigger than before (only Ed knows for sure) but this time everybody was more into the racing this time - very vocal without the foghorn. This is what should be talked about and remembered, not the unforunate incidents that took place.
I publicly apologize for even speaking of what kind of bullshit that was that happened as I should have thought quicker about me wearing my NCRA shirt. That was wrong and I apologize for that instance. How I feel about the situation that occured I will not apologize because that is my thoughts and opinion. I saw a driver at Clinton do the same thing only he was full throttle the wrong way on the race track and hit the dude in the car headon. Bad stuff.
To sum it up, I apologize for speaking out as an official at the time, it really was a great night at the races, I am no longer with NCRA and I have terminated a friendship that lasted 25 years.
Put this to rest, put it to bed and forget about it. It does no good for any of us.
Thank you.
David Smith Jr.
