race88 - I see comprehension isn't at the top of your list of accomplishments. I said people who will call out someone and not post their name. If the shoe fits wear it proudly. Otherwise tell us all who you are. The candy asses that spout crap from the safety/annonimity of their key board are cowards plain and simple.

As for the dialog at the end. Did you read any of the supposed child's stories he typed? He said they told the super there were people there and the super said keep going. What part of that do you not understand? Forgot about your comprehension issues.

I will say it again. The problem was the guy that told them to press on. And.... Had the crowd been out of line as stated... Throwing beer cans, kicking sandals, almost trying to hit someone, especially a juvenile, security and police would have been all over that. They were not. They parents would have done something about it as well. They did not. I still stay the story is B.S. as dramatized in the OP.

So what do you think happened when the children told their supposed boss that there were people in the way and the boss said keep going they will move? Or did they just start blowing shit in the direction of the crowd believing that the boss was right? When it turned out he wasn't did they go get him or take it upon themselves to engage the crowd? Do you honestly believe the "children" blew crap in the direction of the crowd and then just sat there while the crowd (not just Tim) threw the crap back at them and verbally abused them by cursing?

As long as we are calling them kids, children etc. Could you tell me how old these supposed kids that could "hold their own" with anyone were? You know the ones that have never heard or used a curse word in their life, especially not that night, and have never had a confrontation with anyone before, especially not that night? Again, where was the adult supervision.

let me see. did you do anything to try to defend the kids? did you do anything to try to diffuse tk? did you stand up to tk and try to tell him off in person, or did you just run to your computor?

This kind of crap really pisses me off. Some anonymous person comes on the Internet and starts slandering someone who is well known in the industry, casting aspersions and trying to push his opinion off as fact, all while hiding behind his little computer. You are nothing more than an Internet paper tiger. This example of cowardice is more heinous than usual because you originally portray yourself as an innocent bystander, then later admit to being one of the people involved by saying, "beer cans were being thrown at me" and "What did we do wrong?"

And you made an accusation that Tim almost "struck" someone...Well actually, at first you said "I thought he was even going to strike one of them", then you changed it later to, "he about struck one". I'm betting Tim threatened to shut that pie hole of yours after you ran it like a b@$&h. And in front of these so-called, "high school kids", no less. Besides, what are "high school kids" doing up at 2am? On a school night, no less. Sure, some schools aren't open just yet, but whatever. Teenagers should not be out at 2am regardless. Especially being up after hours in a crazy, unpredictable atmosphere as the one that the Knoxville Nationals presents. I'm betting he was simply trying to teach you some manners for running your yap.

And you wanna know why the cops didn't do something about Tim? Because you and your crew were causing a disturbance that did not need to occur. EVERYONE knows that the cops at Knoxville are just looking for a reason to throw someone in jail, and the fact is, if Tim had done ANYTHING remotely like what you said, he would have gone to jail for it (and booked for the flimsy, catch-all law of "public intox"). Alas, they "threatened to put the clean up crew boss in jail" instead. Which was probably you. The cops allegedly "ignored the kids safety" probably because they never were in any actual danger. You may have been. For acting like a punk***b@$%h. So, you are here to lie and manipulate public perception all because you are angry that you got called out and you are nothing more than a coward. That is what cowards do.

You speak of Tim's alleged "classless act", but yours is even more classless, because it's an outright attempt to sully someone's reputation to the world on an Internet message board. twist it any way you want. the thing is we have established that someone told kids that were in their command to antagonize people by assaulting them with air blowers. that resulted in retribution by the people. you keep bring the actions of adults towards kids into the discussion. what about the action of an adult who told kids it was ok to use the air blowers to try to disperse the crowd? was crowd disbursement part of the job of the cleaning crew? if i am at my desk and the cleaning crew comes in, and i say go clean over there because i'm staying at my desk, should the cleaning crew proceed to move me from my desk with their vacum? use your freaking head. it was not the job of the cleaning crew to do anything but clean. it was not up to them to police or evacuate the areas in order to clean them. everyone has already said that sure, maybe the crowd should have just let the crew go. who knows? so then the crew took on something that was not their job. crowd disbursement. under the circumstances the crew should have just stuck to their job. eveything that seems to have happened after the crew took on the job of crowd disbursement seems to have been caused by the antagonism of being assaulted with air blowers. is that what the adult or the leader of the crew was teaching? that if you deviate from your duty to antagonise people you may get mobed and cussed at, and have stuff thrown at you? lesson learned.
