Maybe he should be in bed getting some rest just like his crew is doing so that they can be at thier best. Nobody performs well after drinking all night then have to work the next day. Just a thought.

At Knoxville thursday night, actually about 2 or so friday morning, the clean up crew at the races had to use blowers to blow the dirt and trash by the front stretch gate, which they had been doing all year because its their job. There was a pretty big crowd in the way and their boss said keep going they will move. So they continued to do their job while beer cans and other items were thrown back at them also while being cussed at and flipped off. TK came out of the crowd cussing and attempted to kick his sandal at one of them. He stood there cussing out four high schoolers who were just doing there job. It got to the point where I thought he was even going to strike one of them. I WAS a TK fan until this classless act by him. Also the renta cops failed to do anything about it. They refused to keep the crowd from throwing things at high schoolers. they infact threatened to put the clean up crew boss in jail. They whole thing was a scary scene that could have gotten out of hand at any moment but the renta cops ignored the kids safety.
That is the real Tim Keading.

I don't root for Tim Kaeding because I want him to be Ward Cleaver. I root for him because he understands I paid my hard earned cash to watch his highly skilled crazy side on the track. I get my moneys worth!

He did. The people were warned that the clean up crew needs to do their job and that they were in the way. They blew to the edge of them then stopped.
so you would cuss out some high schoolers working for minimum wage?? or do you like the fact that he about struck one??
Im all for fans having a good time but they need to respect that its someones job to clean up after them.

An yes i was a TK fan. when he drove the 11k and the 83. An now i dont like him one bit. I would have some respect for him if he talked to the boss not almost striking a high schooler.

i am intrigued by your use of the word "we". that may say a lot about your opinion. are you the clean up boss, or one of the school kids? also, who in their right mind directs a bunch of kids to blow through an obviously uncooperative and intoxicated group of knoxville nationals partiers at 2 am? just clean around them to begin with, because they obviously weren't through making a mess!

no one would say tk didn't do it or was framed. they would say the people probably had it coming! and i don't believe tim would still be standing at 2 am anyway! not on his own. lol. and those people are probably lucky tim didn't get his hands on their blowers. and i don't believe tim kicked his sandle at anyone. he probably just kicked it off accidentally while trying to keep his balance!

it seems to me if the crowd was warned and they wouldn't move you go to the track security. if they won't help call the police. if they won't help just move on past the cowd and keep cleaning. its not like its not gonna get dirty again the following nite any way.

I'd settle for not having to grow eyes in the back of my head actually.......:-)......I'm fairly confident that I'm not on the Meyer's, Luck, Swindell or even Carwash Mike's Christmas card list either but I KNOW that they don't have a sense of humor any way :-)......At least I have a shot at one of the Kaedings seeing the humor in that remark.

Not sure why this surprises anyone. Every night, every year they clean the stands after the races, then the area behind the grandstands. Anyone who has been there until 3 or 4 in the morning knows how disgusting it gets and how badly the cleanup is needed before the next morning.
Usually sometime between 2 and 3 a.m. they are done with the grandstands and move down to the party area. By then the band is always done and the bar is closed and most nights the crowd migrates to turn 3 without any problems. Once in a while a few drunks get rowdy about it and want to start a fight with the kids doing the cleaning. I don't care who it is...all they gotta do is mozy to turn 3 and continue partying and let the kids do their jobs and clean up the mess they created. Some people just like to be tough.

Have stayed in the "barn" on occasion and rowdy is not the word for what goes on after the races. Perhaps "organized chaos - emphasis on the Organs" usually makes sleeping inside a RV impossible and in a tent impractical. I applaud those kids for trying to make some honest bucks. Most folks don't realize what a bonanza it is to Knoxville to have the 100,000 fans flock there in this economic depression we are experiencing. Simply put, if they don't want dust fuzz in their cool aid, they need to install cover nets over the can's opening or get their drunk butts up to turn three! Oh, excuse me, and take TK with them.  =
