At Knoxville thursday night, actually about 2 or so friday morning, the clean up crew at the races had to use blowers to blow the dirt and trash by the front stretch gate, which they had been doing all year because its their job. There was a pretty big crowd in the way and their boss said keep going they will move. So they continued to do their job while beer cans and other items were thrown back at them also while being cussed at and flipped off. TK came out of the crowd cussing and attempted to kick his sandal at one of them. He stood there cussing out four high schoolers who were just doing there job. It got to the point where I thought he was even going to strike one of them. I WAS a TK fan until this classless act by him. Also the renta cops failed to do anything about it. They refused to keep the crowd from throwing things at high schoolers. they infact threatened to put the clean up crew boss in jail. They whole thing was a scary scene that could have gotten out of hand at any moment but the renta cops ignored the kids safety.
That is the real Tim Keading.

Why would this idiot boss have his employees blow dirt/trash in the direction of a large group of nearby fans who are just trying to have a good time. This is the Nationals, fans are scattered about the fairgrounds until the wee hours. Why didn't the boss use his little brain by giving everyone in the general area a heads up or by asking the fans to move to a safer area. Maybe the whole situation could have been avoided. Kudos to TK, I'd have done the same thing. You wanna spray people with garbage and debris, expect some sort of outburst.

He did. The people were warned that the clean up crew needs to do their job and that they were in the way. They blew to the edge of them then stopped.
so you would cuss out some high schoolers working for minimum wage?? or do you like the fact that he about struck one??
Im all for fans having a good time but they need to respect that its someones job to clean up after them.

If I was in an open restaurant and a waitress fired up a vacuum cleaner while I was there I would ask them to have her stop. If she insisted on continuing I would stiff her on the tip. What this sounds like is a pissing match and I'm sure the high schoolers were just as much to blame as the crowd. Difference is: the people in the crowd pay the wages of the high schoolers and some consideration should have been given to that fact by the guy in charge.

2am at the nationals there are always lots of people still having a good time under the bleachers. Only a moron would direct kids to use dirt blowers towards a crowd of people and expect it to not get ugly. I would have done the same thing as TK except there would have been a trash clean up boss dumped in a dumpster. I love how this a-hole gets on here and tells his pollyanna version of the story as if these kids didnt do anything wrong. Well if they sprayed a crowd with dirt and trash they deserved far worse than an ass chewing. I will be rooting for TK even more know thanks for the heads up its nice to know people like TK stand up to stupidity.
Cheers!

I have never seen blowers being used at 2am during the nationals when there are always mobs of people still having a good time. That is just asking for an asswhoopin.
Cheers!

I also think the "I was a TK fan" BS is just that - BS - this guy probably had an agenda in the first place which I admittedly do when I bag on Sammy or Kevin but I don't hide the fact that I can't stand either one of them.

would you have thrown your drink at her and cussed at her? I didnt think so. You would have had an adult conversation with her instead right?
Actually they waited an hour before finally cleaning it. They could have moved their party over 50 feet and it would have been fine. I can honestly see why they would be mad but to be immature and throw things like they did thats what makes me mad. Not even mentioning about hitting one.

An yes i was a TK fan. when he drove the 11k and the 83. An now i dont like him one bit. I would have some respect for him if he talked to the boss not almost striking a high schooler.

Just imagine of its TMAC or Swindell, everyone would be on here calling for them to be arrested and banned for any further racing at the track. Get real, like the old equation "instant asshole, just alot of alcohol".
I thought everyone liked dirt in their beer at the race tracks

Maybe they were offering you a drink, sounds like you could have used one.
Look I think its highly suspicious when a person gets on the forums and starts a thread to tattle tale about someones actions and we only get their version of the story. Did you honestly think we were going to hang on your every word as gospel? What if TK got hit in the eye with some dirt from a blower that was being aimed at the group of people? Do you honestly think anyone wouldn't get pissed off?
Cheers!

I told the story as i saw it through my eyes. Like i said the crowd was warned but being intoxicated probably hurt their decision making. Getting pissed off is one thing, that i do understand. But what he did to the workers was over the line. He stood up and acted like a "big man" to some kids instead of their boss.
Im open to other versions. lets hear them. Heck ask TK his version.

Did you say 2 A.M.?
Where were the parents?
I can't believe these "moder-day Dr. Spook parents" who just turn their children loose!
Just don't understand!

The first time you posted, you sounded like a bystander, now you sound like part of the cleaning crew. Which is it, or, are you making this up as you go? And, another thing, highschoolers like 18+ yrs old high school, or younger? I've seen some big 'ol boys that are 18ish that could whup some ass. Also, why are kids working at 2 am? If you are going to tell a "story" give us some juicey details. But, in the end you are intitled to your opinion about the people YOU meet and/or run into.

And the only ones defending the drunken idiots are the drunken/doper idiots. Wow!! Big surprise there.
If you're hired to do a job at 2 a.m. you do your job at 2 a.m. People with any shred of propriety who weren't too smashed to care would have moved when requested. I'd have called the real cops and had them all thrown in the drunk tank for a couple of days.

I was always told that the kids blowing the cans out of the bleachers were boy scouts and worked in exchange for the can money. Maybe that has changed.
I have no idea what happened, but I think we've all seen some mob mentality at some point. A lot of times being fueled by alcohol.
