Hearing this news yesterday morning before the High Banks Hall of Fame and Museum auction was surreal to say the least because it was at Belleville 17 years ago that I first got to hear Jack Miller announce an event. He set the bar so high in so many ways and being a great announcer was just one of them. He was one of the finest human beings I have ever met and I am at a loss for words at the moment - none of them could do justice I'm afraid. Rest in peace Jack. I know you don't want us to cry for you but I can assure you that you will be missed by those of us still in this mortal world.
