my son is now racing Friday night...and races with the best in the business every week end....both nights have numerous drivers that could win it !!!
|
I never see his name on the outlaw roster? Will he be running the big nationals?

If he raced with the best every weekend he would be on the Outlaw tour. Good luck though because it will be a 410 driver that wins it.

Look RRLugNut layofff dude. Marc, Lori and Jack Dover are some of the best people you will meet in the world of sprint car racing. They had the worst luck last year that I had ever seen. They were so fast qualifying night of the 360 nationals last year and running 2nd and catching first when they had a motor failure. Again at Osky Jack was lightning fast and again had another motor problem. Jack is very good around Knoxville and and as far as that goes a threat to win wherever he goes. The Dovers are hard working people who work very hard to give Jack a competive car every night. The Dovers can do more with less. He is having a great year and is 4th in points im glad to see his luck has turned around because he deserves it. So layoff Lori Dover because theres a good chance you have never even met them before. Good luck gas man at the nationals!

This is my little system to figure out which qualifying night is tougher. Yellow equals 1 point, Orange 2 points and Red is 3 Points. What ever qualifying night has the most points is the more difficult qualifying night.
This is just my opinion let me know what you think, If I missed anyone, or ranked driver to high or to low on my system.

Hammer on Jack
He could win this thing and do you want your crow cooked or raw.

Hey Checkered why be a Dick? Jack Dover is a gasser and would not be a stretch by any means to say he could win this deal. Go get some Jack...

Ummm... huh? Shane Stewart, Jason Johnson, and Tony Bruce have all raced with the Outlaws, and beat the Outlaws. Johnson won his qualifying night feature and ran 3rd in the 410 Nationals a few years back, a race FULL of Outlaws. A little closer for your memory - last year - Shane Stewart got a top-5 in the 410 Nationals. Just because not everybody can afford to follow the Outlaw circus doesn't mean they're not the best at what they do. Dover has gotten faster and faster the past couple years, and it was a shame his motor blew up on Friday night last year. We got to see a great race between McCarl & Brown, but even McCarl said that Dover had them covered if he hadn't blown up. Dover actually ran a 410 at Knoxville for a year a while back as a rookie - and did pretty damn good. I would love to see him try it again, but either way, give 'em hell Jack!

Not being a dick, but to say he runs against the best in the business every night is a little far fetched. There are some good racers in the 360 ranks but "the best in the biz", come on. I never questioned his talent, was just curious if he was running the big nats. that's all.

I consider Jason Johnson, Shane Stewart, Gary Wright and Sammy Swindell, just to name a few...the best in the business.Jack will be running the 410 Nats as well, and with a motor that will live....Shaver power !!!

Dover is one of many drivers on the verge of being "Outlaw ready". He's proven himself readily with a 360... lead footed dude.
He & Shane Stewart... they're a threat in both Nationals. FACT. Given some breaks... they'll be right there at the end. Call me crazy but it doesn't make it any less true.
There are plenty of drivers that have done much less with much more in both divisions.

Look here's the deal guys. The Outlaws aren't the tuffest guys out there. You have about 9 or 10 with the Outlaws and it isn't as competitive as the ASCS National Tour. You have to have money to be an Outlaw and succeed. Ya you have to have some money with the ASCS but you have to have a lot of skill and experience. But there are 20 guys out there each night that could come away with the victory. Plus, you have the local guys that race and make it tuff on the touring racers. Jack Dover races with the best almost every weekend. This kid is a gasser and passer!!! One of my personal favorites, btw. Go Gasman!!! Stikk it to em!!!
I'd rather be in Knoxville.

Man, you have got to consider Matt Covington ,and Jonathan Cornell and Kyle Hirst.
Kolt Walker didnt he just win in the past couple weeks.
And what about the points leader in the ASCS Gulf South Ray Allen Kulhanek.
You dont even have none of these in consideration. My opinion Thursday is the toughest day to get in.

TK is running the 360 Nationals via facebook page....I figure he has to be one of the favorites then. Just check out the Trophy Cup from last yr. for that! 24th to 1st1
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!
