This is my little system to figure out which qualifying night is tougher. Yellow equals 1 point, Orange 2 points and Red is 3 Points. What ever qualifying night has the most points is the more difficult qualifying night.
This is just my opinion let me know what you think, If I missed anyone, or ranked driver to high or to low on my system.
It's always hard to predict but I'd have to give some consideration to Cornell, Dover, Crawley, Chappell just to name a few.
I like Randy Martin but that Ford hasn't passed a car all year at Knoxville. Unless they find something this week he isn't going to be a threat.
Gary Wright isn't on the list anywhere. I know he isn't running the full ASCS tour now but I can't imagine him missing the Nationals!
Erin Crocker??

brady bacon as a yellow...dunno bout that. That kid has been on a tear of late. I would put him right on the cusp of red...at the least orange.
It's appears you favor the Knoxville locals on the original list...first day you have to include Dover, Hirst, Cornell and Chappell. Day 2 you need to include Crawley and Zimmery. Day 1 by far the toughest day.
Swindell, Tatnell, McCarl, & Herrera makes Friday the tougher night. Those 4 account for MANY wins on the famed 1/2 mile. Thursday front runners will probably be Brown, Stewart and maybe Johnson. I don't follow the 360's much, but these names are the ones that stand out for me.
Thursday seemed to be a little more stacked in the original list. Dover and Stewart are now listed for Friday which balances the top ASCS drivers between the two nights.
This may be pushing it a little bit but I feel the 2009 points champ,(only 1.5 points out this year) Clint Garner could be a red. Last year he had some bad luck in his heat race and that put him deep in the program. They will qualify well and always run well in the mud which hopefully will allow him to pass cars in his heat. If he can keep things consistent in his qualifying feature and in turn get a top ten start in the final...watch out!
Covington definitely puts the "wild" in wildcard! He did win a race in May of '09 (with a really stacked field) - which was impressive - but I think every time he has run K'ville since then he has destroyed his car! He junked one in turn one last year during the 360 Natls, and destroyed another one in 3 & 4 earlier this year. He is definitely fun to watch though! Hopefully he'll keep it on all four wheels a week from now.
Matt Moro???? He has destroyed more cars this year than Brian Brown has first place finishes.
Think you overrated Billy Alley a little bit but anything can happen.
Jon Agan is not a yellow. He doesnt have the funding behind him to have a chance.
Dustin Selvage is atleast orange possible red. He has been on a tear the second half of the season and now has the points lead, Garner was winning by over 100 points. If he can stay out of any accidents then he should do well.
Doesnt matter how we rank everyone cause the winner will be from Hooks, Texas.
What about Baldaccini? Should be a yellow maybe even orange. He is leading Lone Star ASCS points!!!
Dover should be RED!!! The kid almost won it last year!!!
I agree with everything on here except for Erin Crocker being yellow. Just because she's a girl doesn't make her a threat. And I don't agree with Russ Hall being yellow. Shouldn't be highlighted. Everything else is awesome!

It appears you favor Thursday since your son is racing that night. Friday night has the heavy hitters and by far is the tougher night.

With your changes it does look great, but I think you also have to move Chad Humston to orange. Wealthy owner behind him and a great driver.
Anyone know if Gary Wright will be there??? I assumed yes but heard talk questioning that.
