The 15 won the event. Video worked great. Lets hope for some late afternoon rain late this week. Paulie is doing just a tremendous job. Joey is the man if the cushion is the place to be. I can't figure out why he can't run the top at the Grove like everywhere else.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Yeah, but you don't hear the Ohio folks talking trash like some of the Posse folks.
I think it is wonderful when a "local" can beat the big boys but you SELDOM see a local go out from home and beat them.
Big difference.

The only trash talking is the one that always does. Kind of just have to expect it now.

World of Outlaws Fast Talkers: Williams Grove Summer Nationals
http://www.sprintsource.com/news/?i=5961
Joey Saldana, Driver of the No. 9 Budweiser Maxim: “That place is definitely qualifying oriented and if you don’t qualify well you don’t race well. It seems like the last three times we have been there, we have qualified a lot better. I think as long as we can keep our qualifying effort going, we can hopefully race better than we have in the past there. The fans definitely make the PA Posse into an event in itself with the Outlaws versus the Posse. You can’t knock Knoxville (Raceway) or Chico (Silver Dollar Speedway) or Eldora (Speedway). There are a lot of other places that have good 410-sprint car racing with good equipment. It just seems they don’t have the fan following behind them like PA does, so you hear about those guys a lot more.”

Congrats to Dewease.
As I said above, I always like to see a local beat the travelers.

Got it wrong Martz.
Schatz got the money...but...Dewease and Saldana got the wins. Schatz gets the big donut because of the format.

what do mean by that Open? Dewease and Saldanna still got 15 Grand for the wins; but what about the Over all Silver Cup? Donny Schatz won it !

Schatz was fast, but second feature was inverted. That is the only reason Saldana won it, that and the track went away as did passing. Dewease spanked the Outlaws. As have Stevie Smith and Ed Lynch in recent years. The World of Also Rans are living up to their moniker.

too bad his team mate couldn't show similar respect during his radio broadcast rant...but then maybe he was still dizzy from getting rammed into the wall by Kauffman coming out of 4?
