A university study completed in 2006 found that the average American walks approximately 900 miles a year.
A different study found that Americans drink an average of 22 gallons of beer a year.
That means, on average, Americans get about 41 miles per gallon.

I may be wrong, but I think that if you walked 900 miles, you would consume more than 22 gallons (and that is not counting the additives)!
