Double hot laps, Time Trials and about a quarter of the water normally spilled on the surface sure looke to me as the PA Posse is getting ready for the Outlaws that are due to arrive in the next few weeks... Smile

OUTLAW TEAMS NOTE: The Grove has a major issue with getting the push trucks out of the racing groove during time trials....Soooooooooo, if you run a crappy lap, call Interference... wink

Don't worry about the GREED "over-watering" the track from this moment on. Too wet, let the Pennsylvania State Police run it in! Three troopers and their "marked" cruisers all night at the track. Plus, two "undercover" troopers inside the track. For the rest of the Friday night shows! Oh my, safer than in my mother's arms! My Pennsylvania tax dollars at work? More security than San Quentin. WoO TV fans beware. No more nonsense in this joint. Mess with the Posse and go straight to the big house! E-Mods.

Is there any connection between the Troopers on the grounds and all the violence generated by their message board?... :~/

If they are going to run lap times like the 80s with no moisture in sight the Outlaw ticket prices should be 11 bucks like 1988. I was in town for the car show but when my buddy called and told me the lap times, I stayed away. I remember Eash had the track record at 18.50 for several years back in the mid 80's. 40 Ott chevy powered Maxim replicas runnin 19 second laps on the bottom aint cuttin anymore. If there is no nice cushion what is there to see? No wonder the WoO village people are about broke if they think a dry slick surface is best.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Get in line with the tools on the WGMB that think the only good racing is when its super tacky and they're flat footing around the middle in a single-file line. I'll take 3 grooves with 19 second laps over one 17 second groove any day.

By the way, the cushion was at the gaurdrail with many cars banging it off in turn 4. The winner was primarily on the bottom.

I hate rubber down, but if they can keep the track dry AND wide, then I'm all for it. There were cars all OVER that track on Friday and the cushion was literally a foot from the wall. Go to paposseracing.com and watch Stevie Smith, that should put to rest any concerns anyone had about people only running the bottom.

Couldn't agree more. It's much more worthy $$ to watch a good race then to watch follow the leader.
