Kennedale TX (10/10/09) by DarinShort.com. In the career of veteran sprint car driver Sammy Swindell, it would be much easier to list the races he hasn't won, than it would be to list the races he has won.
The 3-time World of Outlaws champion and unprecedented 5-time Chili Bowl midget champion would now like to add the Cowtown Sprint Nationals to his career achievement list and is now officially entered for this weekend's Cowtown Sprint Nationals.
Sammy joins the stout list of 71 other sprint teams from 15 states converging upon Cowtown Speedway's high banked 1/4 mile track.
Online ticket sales for this event have ended, but general admission tickets are still available at the gate. A limited number of reserved-seat tickets are available while supplies last, also available at the front gate.
General admission tickets for Saturday, Oct. 10 are $20 for adults, reserved-seat tickets are $25. General admission tickets for Sunday, Oct. 11 are $25 for adults and reserved-seat tickets are $30. Thanks to all that participated in our pre-event promotion, which featured a 2-day pass for $35, that promotion has ended.
Here is the summary of this weekend's schedule:
Saturday Oct. 10 – Pits open at 2PM, Grandstands open at 3PM. Hot laps at 5PM, races at 5:30PM.
Sunday Oct. 11 – Pits open at 11AM, Grandstands open at 11:30AM. Hot laps at 12:30. Races at 1PM.
Please click www.CowtownSpeedway.com for complete event details, the 72-car sprint car advance entry list, plus all of the details on the Topless 100, Topless Limited Modified Championships and the Winged 600 Championships. Right at 170 advance entries have been received, total.
Don't miss your chance to see one of the legends of sprint car racing competing this weekend at the Cowtown Sprint Nationals, held at the Fastest Li'l Dirt Track In Texas - Cowtown Speedway!

There is nothing wrong with my grammar, so I'll say it properly. I hope Mr. Swindell ends up being stuffed into the front straightaway wall. Couldn't happen to a better guy!

From last nights' CSN, there's a wild video clip that Sammy Swindell, Sam Hafertepe and Rodney Henderson got caught up when Clint Angelette got crossed up (Swindell would go on to win the race from the tail, but would be docked a lap for working on car during a closed red - but yet lapped up to 4th place in the same race!)
www.CowtownSpeedway.com to check it out.
