Seriously.

My dad just talked to him the other day but never asked what they were doing. If they sell out or race their engine is fresh and ready to go

I believe it was Jon I saw down at the K.C. swapmeet selling things behind the Burnham racing enterprises table. There was some stuff that had the number 4 on it, and there was some stuff that was purple too?
They were also selling new parts like arms and rods.
Not trying to start anything, just stating what I saw!

I just spoke to one of their sponsors from last year and he was told that someone from Austrialia was being put into the seat. If that is true -- didn't Troy Little run their car for Nationals a few years back?

Spoke to a family friend today...He tells me they have two new engines ...a new sponser with lots of funding...and they will be aproching Josh Higday in the next few days.... what a combo that would be if it happens.

The Burnhams are awesome people. They helped me a bunch. Boyd prepares an immaculate race car. Hope the above rumor is true 'cause Higday is a talented guy and I can see that pairing be a huge threat for the track championship. Would hate to see them hang it up.

I heard that they are teaming up with VHR racing to have Nate Van Haaften pilot the 54 for the 2009 season.

I can tell you it's not Higday. He will be piloting our own 24 car again this year. According to Boyd, they have a driver but mum's the word on who. Maybe find out tomorrow at the banquet?

I just spoke to Nate VanHafften himself and also a crew member of the VHR...
Nate will continue to pilot the VHR flame #3.....
Also a possible driver could be Johnny "Lightning" Anderson????
