Sid Blandford (rumored to be forming a SUPERTEAM with, you guessed it, Hillenburg, Blevins, and mark K for the big money shows)
Gary Fedewa
T.J. Giddings
Rich Bubak
David Chappel (think thats Zach's dad)
Fast Frddie Eddie from Bakersfield ( the alias I always wanted to use here in MO)
Speaking of MO, there is a Shell Knob and a Knob Noster, and even a music show called Baldnobbers, but I never heard of a Knob Lick. (Not since I've been married anyway)

but you prob use to be familiar with the French Lick - before you got married that is. lol

This isn't an old name but I always thought that Bob Weuve (knoxville regular) was a funny name. I can't help but think that his name should belong to a professional boxer. Bob and weave champ! Bob and weave!

I can recall Greg Wooley's Mom asking of Greg "is that a Wooley buger"..... when we all knew better, they were just groupies.....I lettered The "Fink" cars, but remember Randy's Dad's name. After a rule change at Fairgrounds Speedway in OKC they had me letter "Blood-Sweat-and Stock Rods" on the hood.
But my all time favorite has to be the T-Shirt design I did for Steve GAStineau.....

Luke Warmwater was actually Jimmy "Buckwheat" Sills driving the #5 sprinter (formerly) driven by Steve Kent here on the westcoast. It was at the Dirt Cup (or around that time) when Jimmy came out of retirement jumped in the car under the name Luke Warmwater. He had retired from driving and took a postion at I think Carrera Shocks..
He then drove for several more years.
Today Jimmy Siils runs his own sprintcar driving school out of Marysville, Ca and Steve Kent owns Kent Performance Center out of Fresno, Ca. He also makes the KPC chassis which is ran around the country.
The #5 sprinter was out of Fresno, Ca. and it was fast.. Steve Kent enjoyed much success in this ride before the team split up.
I am pretty sure about this information.

In the late 80's Jimmy Sills made a come back using the name Luke Warmwater from Hot Springs,Arkansas........ It might have been at Baylands in Fremont,Ca. The best race track still to this day,I understand there still has'nt been any developement on the site of track.
|
When Jimmy Sills made his comeback as Luke Warmwater he won a main event at Chico. When he came out to pick up his trophy everyone could see that Luke was Jimmy in reality. Jimmy is now doing well running his open wheel racing school at Marysville Raceway Park in Calif.
