This was a good man. His name was Jim Teed(?). He was always in a good mood when you went through the gate at Lawton. RIP
I used to tell him how I was going to finish my Dad's old coupe and bring it over just for the heck of it. He wanted to see it since it was from his favorite era. Sadly I never took it to Lawton, and am still waiting for that day. I wish he was still around to see the cars still out there, waiting to shine one more time.

Remember my obsession with the Suchy/Parson body style? Well I have learned it WAS a common combination in those days on several cars. Forgive my insistance of the otherwise.

Yes, it's the Parson 67, renumbered 57 for Gilbert Hudson. Then it eventually became the #5 Clinton Herring ride piloted by AJ Little. From there it went to eventaully Harold Lindsey, then it ended up in Randlett, Ok. It ran in '87-'88, maybe even '86 with a 6 banger. Harold finally got it a few years back and redid it like when he drove it.
Everybody that wants this car thinks it should be like it was when they drove it, let's just be glad it is preserved and we know what it is.
One look inside of a Parson's pilot office and you just want a cage like it. Pure art.

The tag on the rear of the Suchy car? Mike did the artwork and made these,
