Hi everybody ,

been a member a long time but first message board post. So Brian Venard was asked to step down out of the drivers seat of the green # 12 car yesterday. It is completely unfortunate that he is not racing anymore. i loved seeing that guy on the track. The equipment he was given i thought he showed pretty darn good results. But what am i to judge that.... the owner thinks he has a car that can perform better and finish races in the top five, possibly win a races. Oh well... i already saw what happened to the car with a new driver in it ..... the car was DESTROYED a victorville. BUT I DO KNOW FOR A FACT THAT VENARD IS REALLY GRATEFUL THAT HE HAD THE CHANCE TO DRIVE THE GREEN #12.

P.S. I DO KNOW THAT HE IS LOOKING FOR A NEW RIDE TO DRIVE. IF ANYONE NEEDS A EXPERIENCED ,EXCELLENT GOOD DRIVER, REPLY TO THE POST AND I WILL SHOOT THE MEMO OVER TO HIM!!!!!

THANKS,

Sorry to hear about Mr. Venard. However, like Mr. Tripcrwn pointed out, Mr. Aden is an exciting driver, and will be just another great reason to be in attendance at the PAS on Saturday nights.

DID YOU NOT SEE WHAT ADEN DID WITH THE #12 CAR AT VICTORVILLE!!!!! ????? MIGHT BE EXCITING BUT DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DRIVE!!!! SORRY DON'T MEAN TO BE HARSH BUT HE NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO LAY OFF THE GAS A LITTLE BIT. RUNNIN IN TO SOMEONES LEFT REAR AN FLIPPING THE CAR DOES NOT IMPRESS ME AT ALL. A LIL FEATHER OF THE THROTTLE AND THAT INCIDENT WOULD OF NEVER HAPPENED!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HIM OUT AT PERRIS AND DESTROY ANOTHER BLAIR CAR!!! MIGHT KNOW HOW TO PUSH ON THE GAS, BUT SURE IN THE HELL CAN'T DRIVE!!!

I half to agree with him, I don't think any driver wants a wild man on the loose, it maybe exciting to watch but dangerous for other drivers out on the track. Good, clean, smart driving is what I like to watch from the stands at the Pas and any other track. What Aden done at the Victorville track was none of them and trying to win a race in the 1st turn doesn't accomplish anything but what happened. It will be interesting to see how much out of pocket the #12 car owner will put out on a driver that destroys cars before realizing things.

As for Brian Venard, I hope all the best. I must agree with turn 4 rob on this one. If you ask anyone in the stands for the equipment Brian had to deal with I think he did a great job in that car. It is a fact that their were more problems on the #12 car which was out of the drivers control on not operating right but when it did Brian was able to put on a show for what the car could handle. It is a bit difficult when you have old, bent used parts and stuff on the car nearly broken before a race and Brian still was able to handle things, which people couldn't believe. I hope Brian gets a break and another owner gives him a fair shot in another car to really show his talent as the 12 car didn't have the go power or equipment do that, it was obvious that it was all driver in the seat and smart moves making it go like it did. As I said before and I must agree with turn 4 rob Brian has been the best in the 12 car since Steve O. I must say if, and when Brian gets a break and another owner gives him a good shot with a giddy up car he will be on fire like his dad was back in ascot days. Brian will really be able to show his talent. I look forward to seeing him back out on the track soon. Good luck Flyin Brian!!!!

I saw him destroy a 360 at Perris on opening night. The man has no fear, and that is probably the reason why is going to be driving the #12 car.

Remember a few years ago, some young upstart showed up at Perris with a silver and green winged car.took the wing off and proceeded to give the gasman slide job after slidejob on his way to his first heat race win....nobody told him he could'nt pass the 50....that was the shot in the arm racing needs every once in a while.....I hope John Aden can help inject a little more of that attitude....after all Johns not a legacy, son of a legend....it's just him and Don Blairs fine car...raw talent and skill...certainly worth watching come Sat. night.......

Bro...

It's OK for you to be upset about Brian losing his ride...it's even OK to post it here. But I don't think that its OK for you to minimize Aden's driving ability. Blair picked Aden to replace Brian...but it is his car, so it is his choice....While you can be loyal and support Brian, burning bridges does not help anyone...

You can choose to denigrate Aden as his choice, but, if I were a car owner, I'd think twice about selecting Brian to drive it - just because of the baggage that he's surrounded with...you. I don't think that Blair, or any other car owner, wants anyone to second guess his choices publicly.

Like I said, you can have an opinion, but sometimes it's better left unposted....

Chuck.....

I think I even remember someone saying that Aden is good mechanically with the cars. I think that was his own 360 that he destroyed on opening night, and he was right back out there running with it the next night. I'm not too clear on the previous point, and if someone could clear it up, it would be greatly appreciated. Personally, I think Aden is a good edition to USAC/CRA. Sorry to hear about Venard guys, I realize that you guys are fans of his and are upset. I hope everything works out for him. Just my opinion.

I agree Brian Venard is a excellent driver. For the record John Aden did'nt take his ride .John was offered the opertunity to drive Don Blair's car...what driver would turn down the privilege.Mr. Aden wrecked at Perris on the second night of a two day show..leading the race...because the ladder mount tore loose from the frame ,launching the car.John Aden crashed at Victorville on the first lap of a race that was ended after 3-4 green laps, the track was deemed unsafe to continue after what, 8 to 10 restarts ,with 60 % of the field spinning or wrecking. Two wrecks in two years, multiple 'A' main wins,a track championship...I hope he does well Sat. after all he won't be racing with just Blake Miller,Tyler Brown,Cody Williams ,ect as he did at Victorville. There's 20 more 'Go Fast guys at Perris '..so Good Luck John.......Steve I never said one thing bad about Brian..I respect his talent

If we had the same conversation in the grandstands ,we'd both be laughing and having fun.Your passionate about racing,I Like That!If your frustated and bummed get down to the track, your suffering from methanol withdral,it could be fatal! It usually only takes a hot lap session to fix me.....it's a good screen name keep it
