I've known Robert for many years in the Air Guard and racing. If he is proked, he will get after them. As for Lanny: ask him why he is losing good drivers. I can say the name, Bobby Smith Jr, CA Nix, Gene Bryce as a few. Lanny plays favoritizm and keeps it going. Lawton is not like it use to be. You can blame fuel prices or whatever, but for the most part, you have to blame Lanny.
As for legel action, it is sad in this day and time that we can not go without a lawsuuit on someone. I remember in the days, early to late 70's, we had fights in the pits and no one would think about a lawsuit on someone. If they got there ass kicked, they would take it. It is sad were racing is going now.
If Robert comes to Meeker, we will welcome him. He is a hell of a guy and a hell of a talent.
I hope Lanny one day wakes up and sees what is going on.

Its all the same....Robert is like Jeff Gordon or Dale Earnhardt if they win people dont like them... Robert Sellers is one of the best sprint driver around these parts and made that class worth watching. All I can say is if he does not come back then whoever wins in the sprint car class needs to take the parade lap, drive to their trailer and run over and shake Shawn Bloomquist's hand cause 99% of the time they would have finished 2nd or behind and if not for Shawn and the little stunt he pulled, the champ would still be winning! Thats the only reason they (most sprint drivers) dislike him is cause they cannot out drive him. It has nothing to do with money or motor. Simply put the man can drive a race car! Sorry guys.... its the truth!

Well, good luck to Robert. A driver of his quality can win at any track they run, so he should do well at Meeker.
But what's the word on bloomquist and ezel? Are they suspended too?

Well it is sad that a good driver like Robert as well as Shane had to be run off by two drivers that really don't care about the fans. Or even that their fellow drivers that spend a lot of time and money getting ready to race each weekend at Lawton. I know that their presence will be missed and very noticable to not only the drivers but the fans as well. It will be very interesting to see how the fans react when they see teh outcome of last weekend's debacle!
Robert and Shane you will be missed!

Monkey, Gene is my coz, on my moms side kinda sound like one of those brothers sister uncles things doesnt it, anyhow I can tell you from a family standpoint we do not like to be screwed over and if we feel as if you dont need our money b/c you got enough not to play fair.
Anyhow, it sounds as if Meeker is becoming the place to see some awsome champ races. I know Eddie Guinn will be there on Sat and we got a few driver from Tulsa that run there on a weekly basis. Ought to be interesting to see what happens.

Well, you know what they say....ignorace is bliss.....so apparently you are a bunch of blissful people..... Is that why Sellers was saying he was going to run over Bloomquist???? Oh and by the way......it is B-L-O-O-M-Q-U-I-S-T........

I was there also Sat night and the way things happened was wrong in so many ways. Robert Sellers is an excellent driver and that may bother some of the other fans that have their favorites. But that is no reason to take sides. You tell me if someone ran up on your back tire wouldnt you be a little mad too? I know I would be. Robert is one of the few drivers who is not aggresive and races because he enjoys it. Others like the whole Lanny family wanna go out there and cause problems. Robert is the main reason I even go to the races. He is awesome and if the Lanny family cant handle that then maybe they shouldnt race. Just because they are all family dont mean they get to win and run that track. Really sad that they are such big babies they cant handle the competition. Seen Ezell throw a big baby fit 2 weeks in a row. Grow up.

Congratulations Joe Bob Lee on your win!

Talked to cody after they got him and his car off the track. He was upset becuase he was leading the race and the 7 car was told over the radio to go to the bottom and then he moved to the top. After looking over the car to check for any damages Cody looked a little reliefed everything was okay along with him. With the Sprints being off next week Cody will be back and ready to win some races again.
Glad to know that Cody made it out of that wreck unhurt just a little bit shaken.

I don't know who you talked to but Cody Lair was not leading the race, Eddie Middleton was leading most of the race until the caution then he lost fuel pressure after the restart. I have been reading these for quite some time and finally decided to register. The reason being everyone has got alot to say about Lanny's family but what kills me is no one has said a word about those Nunley's. They cheat and are ruthless. I was there when lonnie Nunley threw a fit because they were going to tear his car down, they told him if he left that area he was going to be barred, so what did he do he left and went and locked himself and crew in his trailer, called Lanny crying about it and finally got his car out and took it back over there, only for them to discover he was running and illegal motor.WTF! And now he is back, i watched last week as him and his little boyfriend Henning took out the #99 car of Mark Wilson and nothing was done about that either. So it is not just family that Lanny plays favorites with.

Yes, the nunleys - especially Lonny - drive dirty all the time and seldom get a black flag for it. It was fun to cheer for Henning when he first started - but now that he has associated himself with the nunleys - I won't cheer for him. And in the back of my mind I'm thinking - is he doing something illegal too? And I've never seen Mark Wilson drive dirty. He's always clean and fun to watch.
Also wanted to say that I hope Cody is ok and will be back soon. It's fun to watch the young ones race and get better as they get track time.
And, good job to Joe Bob Lee on his A feature win last week - way to go Joe Bob

Talked to Cody yesterday and he was pretty sore all over but doing ok. Assessing the damge to his car. I am sure he will have it back out there in 2 weeks. He and Joe Bob were putting on a pretty good show until that flip. Those "young guns" are pretty talented boys. I enjoy watching them both race. You can bet there will continue to be more good racing from both of those boys.
Congratulations to Joe Bob on his win. That was one smooth move taking the lead on white flag lap.
Even though the car count is down at Lawton, there still seems to be some great racing going on. The majority of the drivers still coming out put on a decent show. Just wished there were more!
Good job guys.

Nunleys = Not only they cheat and driver dirty. They also like to start trouble in the pits, like last saturday night. When Thomas went over to Lucas Steele trailer and got in his face. After Steele bump him during the heat race.
