Moderators, I'm asking, no, I'm begging you to block my account so that I can't post on here.  My request that I posted yesterday was removed and I still have access.  This isn't about HH or anyone saying anything that hurt my feelings.  It's about threats to my son and is compounded with my own health problems.  I don't want my name to appear on any racing facebook groups or racing forums.  I'm just a little old guy, 5'6" standing on my toes, who has never even been in a fistfight.  My personality is like a short fat old Mr. Rogers.  I just need to eliminate anything that puts my name out in public from now on.  You can help me by revoking my access so I'm not tempted to join in conversation and removing my Minnesota message board that has my name on it.

Thanks and again no hard feelings.  Thnx!

Lame dad joke of the day:  "what do HH message board, the mafia, Hells Angels and the Hotel California have in common?"

You can check out any time you like but you can never leave.  Is this some kind of strange torture or something?

Stan, if this is something you really feel you need to do, look in the upper right hand corner of your posts it will say reply, edit, delete all posts and ban user. You have the option to do this to yourself if it is what you really want. I think with all the contributions you have made here over the years none of us that have been here a long time want to see you go. I hope you can get the help you need and find peace in your life which ever direction you decide to go. Also in case no one has told you lately Thank you for your service as a Vietnam Veteran !

Stan,

E-mail the moderators. Have them lock you out for now. Down the road a piece, if you want back in that's easier than starting from scratch.

ps. I was active on your Minnesota board .

Stan, I'd like you to reconsider. I think you contribute to this message board and are one of the OGs. I have many family members in the military and I think most on this message board would support them, and everyone once in a week, we have some idiots that cross the line.

I appreciate your self awareness, and really there's been very few that I can think of that have crossed the line in regards to our veterans and those who are serving.

I get a message that says "error, not a moderator" when I attempt to delete my account.  The reason I'm asking to be deleted was that my son got a warning about his dad's posts at the bar.  When I shut down my website in 2016 I sent an email and requested that my message board be removed.  I don't want that banner out there with my name on it and don't want to be active here.  A few days ago they posted that people stirring up trouble will be banned and I caused trouble and asked to be deleted voluntarily.  Just asking that someone follows through on what they said they would do.

Unless your son is dealing with the Fargo mafia, I'd tell them to go suck on a railroad spike.

He Lives over in Western Wisconsin.  I don't go into the bars except when we go out to eat I might I order a beer while waiting.  That's his thing but he had bladder cancer a couple years ago and is 53 so he's not a fighter either.  They stop with their haulers at a couple places he has been to.  He refuses to say who it was and where it happpened or what class of cars.  Could have been Late Models or Modifieds because I have been around all of them.  I guess that I'm going to have to rely on my own self control which hasn't had a very good track record.

I'm not a super regular poster here, but I do lurk quite a bit. I've never noticed that your posts are particularly inflammatory to be honest. You speak your mind based upon your life experiences and you have your opinions, but I really don't see any issue. Obviously I have only the information you have provided, but I just don't really understand any of this.

I agree with you.  Stan is the most reserved member on this board.

"Illegitimi non carborundum"..... don't let the bastards wear you down

A) You have never caused any trouble here, as far as I can see

B) Just how tough are these guys threatening your son & would they actually do anything to him for something his old man said??? Are you gonna let them intimidate you? Hope not...

C) If it really bothers you that much, I'm gonna agree & ask the moderators to shut you down. No point suffering over this silly ass board

D) But I wish you well with all your troubles & hope you stick around... or get better & come back

I have been on here since 1999 so everyone would know that it's me.  I'm just avoiding everything because that's the bottom line anyways if I want to avoid interacting.  The hostility and name calling by a few in every post gets old.  That's not a good situation for me to put myself in.  I still watch from a distance but don't want to interact with people online except for texting family and friends.  I'm still following racing, that won't change.

I believe in therapy Stan!  Being a NAM vet I have had great results from the VA.  If you are a vet please take avantqage of that program.

I have good private insurance and don't use our VA hospital.  There was just a combination of things all at once combined with some outside factors.  An uncle that I lived with as a kid passed, my wife having a procedure done and waiting for results.  Me having my six months bloodwork and concern about those numbers.  I went to another appointment after finding out my vitamin D levels were extremely low.  That mimic symptoms of my Waldenstroms so I had to up that dosage.

I have these meltdowns every few years and it's extreme anxiety that I get every so often.  If it's not an online meltdown it's my blood pressure spiking so high at the dentist they reuse to clean my teeth.  My son had something going on and I didn't handle that well.  I grow and use medical cannabis for my anxiety with the blessing of my oncologist and family doctor.  The VA still tests for it and refuses to care for veterans who partake even in legal medical states.  A quick session stops my anxiety in it's track and my PCP says it's better than prescribing anxiety meds with side effects.  I just made a batch of gummies that I microdose when I get anxious and that helps a lot.  I'm in a good place since leaving social media and probably should have done it years ago.

By the way, I am a Vietnam era veteran but didn't do a Westpac cruise.  That means that I voluntarily enlisted during Vietnam.  My job was launching planes on a carrier so the work was the same regardless of where we operated and I got monthly hazardous duty pay.  We kept the Middle East in check operating in the eastern Med.
