Make sure to hit Don Garlits museum in Ocala.... best vintage drag racing museum by far!
& bring some warm clothes just in case.... my one visit to Volusia was freezing (& I came from Colorado!)

My one visit wasn't cold but it can be. We had pesky rain but got the shows in. Stayed in Daytona Beach area. Ormond might be slightly nicer and closer but Im not sure if there is much difference. If your into NASCAR plenty of things to do around Daytona Speedway. Usually the duals are the same week as well. We visited the Ponce De Leon lighthouse a little further south which was nice. Cape Canaveral is even further South but we never did make it there.
