For the money that is being paid at Husets this coming week . You should see around 60 cars or more but with the price of diesel and tire and parts shortage . I will be surprised if you see 40 it could be as low as 32 to 36 which is very sad but I'm afraid it could happen . I hope I'm wrong and Tod and Doug have a standing-room crowd all 4 nights and so many cars they will have to run a E feature . Glen Murra

I would expect a lot of cars considering finishing 24th is almost like winning elsewhere.
Unfortunately with its location on the fringe of sprint cat maps and diesel prices, I also hope that doesnt ruin a good thing.

They've had about 36 cars the last 2 nights at Jackson, about 85 miles to the east. Throw in how many WoO travelers and a couple more Knoxville cars and you could see counts in the 50's. You'll probably see some of the MSTS group there with their "smaller" 410's.

$1000 for 7th in the B main on the last day. I think it's those numbers from position 15 and lower that really appeal to small teams. Only a few have a arguable shot at the $100,000 so to me that isnt enticing from a drivers POV. Fans love it.

I doubt there will be any WoO teams racing. Tire shortage is real right now.
We may pick up Scelzi, Abreu, Schneiderman from Beaver dam last night though.

Maybe we're on two different wave lengths here? I'm not talking about tonight. I'm talking about later this week, which is 4 nights of WoO sanctioned racing.

15 Outlaws will attend starting Wednesfay, 12 probably make the Saturday feature, maybe 11.

30 410s signed in tonight with no Outlaws, so hoping they are able to pull 50+ for the week.

I am guessing between mid 30's and low 40's. We're one of the last outposts and it has always been that way. Fans at Cedar Lake setup a deal called "Fan's Fund" for the USA Nationals $50k Late Model race. They banded together to create a fund that offers $1k to drivers they determine by polling fans aa an incentive to haul up to Wisconsin. I'm not saying that should be done for Husets but to illustrate that there is a tipping point where the economics of attending don't add up. By tipping point I mean weighing the cost vs potential of coming out ahead. Basically the same principle as how for grown man will travel to spend a big chunk of their season budget to come up here and get their ass handed to them by the WoO. In the past that tipping point has always limited our fields to less than one would see in places like PA and OH. Hope we are pleasantly surprised and that I am wrong but as long as there a few heats and a Feature with 24 cars I am cool with it.

There was 30 on Sunday, so add the Outlaws, plus Rico, Gio, Reutzel, Jeffrey and hopefully a few more and you're likely to get 45-50. The All Stars seem to be supporting Skagit.
So odd that there's only 8 (I think) $50k or more to win sprint car races and 2 of them are happening on the same weekend.

50 cars easy. Its not about the grand prize and the A main on Saturday...well it is....but it is the payback to the rest of the field. Promotors and track owners absolutely have to do this now to attract more racing and car counts. Of course there are really only about 1 of 7 cars that will win the 100K on Saturday. But the racing will be fun to watch and is amazing anytime you have 50 dudes taking their shot at Husets. Also big props to Johnny Gibson for always mentioning how much he likes it there. I've grown up at this track and sometimes take it for granted. But the east facing stands (huge bonus) that look out onto the river and cornfields of small town SD are amazing views. Sitting down on the bottom of a hill in that bowl is just a cool way to build a track. All the upgrades. Huset's easily among the top 10 sprint car tracks in America??

I 've been looking at the weather models and right (hope it doesn't change) Friday 6-10 it looks like the weather for 6- 22-25 is going to be hot and dry all 4 days . Maybe a very small chance of a little after the races Friday night but that just a small chance otherwise just hot. We'll see how close I am I just do this for fun and a hobby. Next weekend for Jackson 6 - 17/18 it looks dry & hot with models showing highs near 100 Glen Murra

Well it's time for the races I put my weather forecast on here . On June 10th looks like I did pretty good last weekend . So far this week looks good I still think maybe a few light sprinkles Friday morning before noon(Not enough to settle the dust) . And maybe a harder rain after 12:30 AM Saturday morning there . For the people camping at the track there is a chance some of the Thunderstorms could be severe Between 12:30 - 5:00 Am Saturday morning . Then cooler N.W.wind for the rest of Saturday . Glen Murra

From twitter it seemed to be a good feature. Nice to see a few guys in the mix who aren't there often.
Great night for KKR with 3 in the top 7.

I hope everything works out for Friday night . The latest weather model runs show that rain could possibly move in as early as 10:30 Friday night . Hopefully they'll pay attention to the weather not screw around with any beer and weenie brakes. Glen Murra

Your hilarious. If you dont like to scroll twitter by all means nobody else should either. If you like to wait a few hours for the highlights I cant understand why everybody doesnt wait that long for highlights. Thing is I don't want to stay up until 2 AM for a video when the WoO posts the same video on twitter a few hours sooner than youtube. I get the video and text comments and even a few shorter video of heats and qualifying that you dont get on youtube. So I actually get lot more info a lot sooner and I wake up pleasant enough I don't have to insult people to feel valuable. I like my system. Give it a try. It changed my life and it might change yours too.

There were 49 on Thursday the first official night of the three day High Bank Nationals. That is only four cars above the upper range of my guesstimate. Based on the Nationals format and accumulatin points for Saturday I am not sure if stragglers can arrive on night two. It looks like we may have topped off at 49 if that is the case.
Being from the upper Midwest I could make a list of cars and drivers who dont have a chance to be competitive. There is a chance that a few might even be 360's but I won't speculate on that. It isn't uncommon to see that up here. I think the numbers are good for this part of the country. They are up against Dirt Cup and weekly shows and Skagit likely has a simlilar car count.
