Noticed on the pictures of tonights cars that AR #8 car had headers like a Ford..Not the tightness of the two centers like a Chevy..Could it have been a Ford or a Yota?

Toyota engine, Triple X Chassis & Elite Wings. Looks like they have changed over to Reutzel's preferred package. Where does that leave Tyler Swank in the mix?

Who owns the 8 and where are they from? Do they usually run their local area mostly wirh an occasional road trip or what is their history? Who has driven for them in the past?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Ruetzel ran well. Good race .Cautions were a factor and the single car restart helped Gio.

It's the 83 team that Lynton Jeffrey was driving for at Knoxville.

Brian Ridge owns A.R, team. Brian used to race 360 at Knoxville. He is in realestate development in the Marion Cedar Rapids area.

Starting to be pretty obvious that Swank is overrated. Kinda just been floating from job to job last couple years.

Tylers days with Schatz would make many crew cheifs look good.It takes a team to run up front and also equal equiptment which most have.It appears there isnt much difference in Ford,Toyota, and Chevy motors even tho they are just basic designs that fit the rulebook. Chevy and Ford make some great high horsepower motors that the public can buy just wont live in the demands of sprint car racing. The days of buying a corvette engine from your local dealer and putting a special roller cam ignition and injection was when an 18second + lap at Knoxville was fast and 500 H.P.was enough.

He seems to have the connection at Toyota though which makes him valuable. Scelzi had the engine while Swank was with the team, now Reutzel has it while Swank is there.

Pretty sure Christopher Bell told Toyota to give Gio and Aaron a chance with the Toyota motors. Think it is connection with Chili Bowl Midgets. Fun part is seeing that Aaron Reutzel is back. He will have a great year next year. Racing Toyota thru end of year but next year he will be back to I am guessing Rider motors also. Just a guess!

When he wins at Port Royal, how will you figure out what to bitch about first?

I enjoyed seeing running with the outlaws Friday night. He is a contender and adds another guy that can win. Not really a reutzel fan but after his 4 wheels over the cushion run in Florida early in the season he is one I keep an eye on.

I'm with you. He seems to be despised by the drivers and PA fans in a way I haven't seen in a long time. I kind of like it.

Its Reutzel that has the deal with Toyota and he brings that deal to whatever team he races for. Bell is the one who suggested to Toyota who to use for the 410 development. It was Reutzel, Scelzi and Ellison. Engine builders were going to be Speedway for Reutzel, because that's who Roth uses and Rider for the other two for the same reason. However much like everything else, Covid delayed the progress of the engines.
Gio for whatever reason was given what was ready from Rider and Speedway was dead in the water. From what I understand on how Reutzel got the late season engine offer from Toyota with the limited amount of ready to go engines, was due to KCP not running the Toyota engines every night in the 18. I think that pissed off TRD and they yanked their motors from KCP. Not 100 % on that, but it's close.
