Lance and team had already planned to do 5 races coming up for Speedweek. With Davey's health and utulizing the day on their schedule to get cars prepared and such, they chose to stick to the schedule as this was a make-up date.

It's incredible in the midst of a pandemic how much dirt racing there is going on right now.
Assuming the King's Royal happens, if you followed PA and Ohio Speedweek plus the Doty and the Royal, you could race 21 of the next 23 days.

I am so looking forward to PA Speedweek. I am going to a couple/few of races during this week.
I will be watching some on PPV. You don't need mask if you are outside under the stars and you are healthy. Just breathe in the fresh air.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

I always sit in the infield. More room to spread out.

Yea, but you can only see one corner. I like to watch the whole race
Same reason I never hung with Beer Hill Gang... can't see front stretch over the haulers
Even tho I don't drink (didn't have to quit, chose to...), I would have a beer with those guys... but YOU CAN'T SEE THE FRONTSTRETCH
Thanks for the suggestion, tho

I hope it's good in Central PA. It's not in North Texas, where new cases are way up. Tarrant County (Fort Worth) mandated masks again today. Dallas County had already mandated it, so anyone going out to Devils Bowl this weekend will have to wear a mask.

It is fine unless you are in a nursing home. That is where over 70% of the deaths happened. Gee, I wonder why?
The cases have been way down for a long time now. Using common sense is the reason why. We don't need to be told what to do. Lets go racing....PA speedweek time.
I don't have a problem wearing a mask indoors.....it is really stupid to wear one outdoors when you can breath in the fresh air.

Yes, it is stupid to wear a mask while outdoors. Very, very stupid!
It couldn't have to do with testing being way up now could it? God forbid someone actually thinking for themselves!!

You may think for yourself, but it's incredibly clear that it's at a very, very low level.
Testing is way up, which is fantastic - it's a damn shame it took the so-called greatest country in the world several months to get to this point. However, it's up everywhere - so riddle me why places that have maintained mask orders are down 25% in new cases why places that haven't are up 84%?
And what's this magic of being outdoors? If someone with COVID coughs or sneezes outdoors, do they miraculously manage to not spread virus-carrying droplets?

Don't start..... You either have the disease or you don't
Testing lets you know
You want people walking around with COVID infecting others, cause they never got tested?

Now could I get some info from somebody without an ax to grind?
I guess I could research it myself, thought someone from Pa. might know...

Mask situation is like this in Pa if you go into a store in Harrisburg or Hershey almost all people are wearing masks and quiite a few places require you to wear mask like Costco for example. If you live like Strausser who I am guessing in the area of Cocolamus or thereabouts the rural areas most arent wearing masks. I live in a small town and i wear a mask when i go into a store but its like 50/50 maybe 60/40 of people who wear masks.

"It couldn't have to do with testing" - this is mentallity that is causing this to drag on unlike other sophisticated countries in the world who have handled this. Also example of what happens when you listen to cult of Trump. Its shocking that people actually repeat this. Please think for yourself, this is just ignorant. The more testing and tracing the faster it can be controled/reduced and life can get back to semi normal without a vaccine.
