What happened to him auctioning it off in pieces if it didn't sell by a certain date? Must have been just another empty threat to try & con someone into buying it to save it. 

This race will not happen. Gatherings of several thousand people will not be allowed till a vaccine is available, possibly spring next season.

Chuck has told so many lies that now nobody will believe him if he ever does try telling the truth. He destroyed his reputation with all his B/S the last few years 

Another possibility of the track racing again is awesome! Fuck the doubters and haters, you must not like racing. Husets needs to be open for all of racing to survive.

Another headline grab by the king of bs, and during a time of crisis. This turd has no shame. If people can't see that Brennan is full of it by now, they never will. Posters who call me or others haters simply for stating the truth are, and I'm speculating, very gulluible.

Surely you jest!  I love racing!  More to the point, my first love, I mean well before I met my beautiful wife near 30 years ago and we started a family, my first true love were fire breathing, dirt slinging SPRINT CARS. To say I don't like racing is the biggest blasphemy I've heard since Bill Clinton denied getting a hummer in the Oval Office. The reason we are doubters of Drooling Chuck Brennan is summed up in the first 7 words of your post..."Another possibility of the track racing again....". There have been so many "opportunities " put out there and then the rug gets pulled out by Blowhard Brennan, well, we've heard the story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf and learned from it. The old cliche of I will believe it when I see it. If, and I mean an if bigger than the balls of Jan Opperman and Jac Haudenschild combined, it happens, I'll be happy as heck to eat my crow, I'll take it grilled sandwich with a touch of Tabasco Sauce.

    A nice, reasonable post deserves a nice, reasonable response.

     We like racing. We don't like Chuck. We doubt Chuck, and for the most part, we hate Chuck.The majority of people that know anything about the whole Husets ordeal (by majority, I'm guessing it's in the 95%+ range at this point) doubt his honesty, integrity, ethics, morals, business sense, grasp of reality, and scrupels. Did I mention people doubt his honesty?

    To paraphrase an old saying- Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on you. Fool me 14 times, drop dead you jerk. This race, like every other scheme he's come up with, will go nowhere; it's just another fantasy playing out in his head. In addition to the fans having zero faith in him, he would have to convince all the other players required to put on a race- like race teams, workers, suppliers, insurance carriers, etc. I'd say 95% of them are wishing this would come true, but know better. The biggest indicator of Chuck's future actions can be predicted from his past actions. For that, his grade is F---.

     Over 35 years I've probably been to Husets 500+ times. I think you'd be hard pressed to call me a race hater. I truely believe that someday I will get to see racing there again. However, I'm realistic enough to know that Chuck won't play a part in any future racing there in any capacity other than being the former owner of the facility. The track will sell eventually- once the price someone is willing to pay matches the price the seller is willing to accept. Supply and demand wins every time. 

     In the meantime, keep your fingers crossed.

At one point, wasn't the price dropped to below 7 million? (around the time of the "win the track" race?  I've lost track of everything going on but now the price is listed back at 9,450,000 and I thought it was lower before?

Did the teams who signed up to win the track every get their money back?

care what most of you think!

It was down to $3.15 million dollars when the Husets auction took place back in September, 2018.
After no one bought in then, the price went up to $6.3 million. Then after former Husets owner Steve Rubin attempted to buy the track back in December, 2018 did not happen, Chucky decided to jack the price back up to the $9.45 million. That's where it stands today.

Did I miss something? Why is it being referred to as Husets vs. Badlands?

He has rebranded it back to Husets most likely to help sell the joint.  This happened last summer/fall.....
