Please excuse me ignorance in advance....

Can IRacing be run off of one of today's gaming consoles, or do you have the have a computer?

What is the best gaming consoles for racing games?

What is your reccommend steering wheel that won't cost me an arm and a leg?

I appreciate any help/opinions. Thanks!

It has to be run on a PC.

Just starting out I would go with Logitech G29 or Thrustmaster Wheel they will be around $200 -$300.

The iracing site has the requirements and I will tell you those are towards the low end. Takes a good CPU and GPU to run the sim.

I am running a 6700K, 16gig ram, 2070 video card. I use tripe 27" monitors. You can run on single screen or use VR.

Iracing is a subscription service so if buy in and take a break you will not loose any track or cars that you purchased.

Good Luck!!
