Where can one find the racing schedule for Winter 2020/2021 racing in Australia?

I'm recently retired and want to spend at least a month in Australia next December or January .

Is this a good time to go for some big events and where could I make my home base, as I also want to explore the continent.

Thanks in advance for advise, from the best board on the internet.

If you want to see the most of Australia while also seeing great sprintcar racing I suggest you go over for Christmas and start by following the World Series for speedweek continue to follow the series up to Queensland then go to Sydney speedway for the ultimate speedway nationals and end up with President, Kings challenge and The Classic at end of January. If you want to stay even longer you could follow World Series over to Western Australia in February. The Australian title is also going to be in Western Australia next year so would be an ideal thing to include. The schedules have not been released for next season and probably wont till halfway through the years but usually fall on about the same time each year. Have a great time in Australia it is truly an amazing place.

So from north to south .
Archerfield raceway Brisbane Queensland, small track and Donny Schatz turns up straight after Xmas to kick all their backsides, small track in the suburb.

Valvoline Raceway, Parramatta in Sydney.
Lots of racing straight after Xmas , lots of your drivers too. From 14 to 16 January 2021 high time of season and the last before its closed down by the state government.

Premier Speeway Warrnambool Victoria, 22 to 24 Jan 2021 the Classic , an absolute must see, a lot of your drivers , Larson , Etc, etc. This date is locked in, You wil need a car as it's about 3.5 hr drive from Melbourne. Avalon is near Melbourne outskirts, Warnambool , then keep driving to Mt Gambier. All tracks have websites and faceboook, not many dates or drivers locked in yet till Knoxville when deals are done.

Warning , warning try and pre book Warnambool tickets online, it's packed out and they have to lock the gates at times , police direction to the track which is owned by the community speedway club.

Sprintcarworld for all the past and current race info , hope this helps , or ask questions , we are the same as you guys , I've been to Knoxville, Osky and  Eldora , has a great time too.

Yes this helps a lot.

Premier speedway is probably the biggest race of the season?

The Classic is the biggest event of the year, runs for 3 days and around 100 plus cars entered. The entry list this year included Larson, Macedo,Shane Stewart, Tatnell, both Madsens,McFadden,T Kaeding, Kofoid, Shaffer, Veal. J Mac won the event.

Speedweek runs over a week or so between Mt Gambier, Avalon , Warnambool straight after Christmas so it's a bit of a hot bed of racing in the Southern states.

Distance Brisbane to Sydney 600 mile, then onto Warnambool 680 mile.  Fair bit of racing in West Aust but it's 2400 mile across to  Perth from Sydney , best to fly.
Premier Speedway Facebook has some great wrap up short videos of the 2020 Classic, so start planning!!!!!
