What a great read this month in Sprint Car & Midget magazine! Got home from work Friday, and there sat the magazine and a package from JJR. I had asked for a 2016 JJ Knoxville Nationals Championship shirt for xmas, guess i got it! (YES) I got excited all over again reading about Jason's Nationals week in his words. Ive been going to the Nationals since 1991 and JMO? but think it was the best race for the lead on championship night in all those years. Several years back Openwheel did a story on Jason, telling how he jumped on a bus and headed to PA looking for a job to get going in sprint car racing. With little money in his pockets and not even a place to sleep, he headed out to live his dream! Boy what a feel good story it has turned into!! So many people should take note of what he has started with and what he has done over the years!! You are the apitomy of a true racer in every shape way and form! Congratulations on the nationals win and on a great sophomore season with the WoO. Hope you and your partners can keep this team on a upward progression and make some even bigger waves in this sport for years to come!! Congratulations to the entire JJR team!! Have a great off season and good luck in 2017

He apparently forgot what happened during the last lap. Not word one except "I don't think we touched", who cares if you touched or not, its how you got into that position to win. Wants to forget all about that, just another great winning Knoxville Nationals race winner.
Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

I haven't read the article yet, but plan to soon. I think I remember that Jason hitched a ride on a freight train (not bus) to get to PA... which is even crazier! It's awesome to see his extreme sacrifice and love for the sport rewarded. I'm still in shock that he won... but very happy that it wasn't the 15!

Just a hunch here....... you are not a JJ fan are you? Kerry and Ian would never chop or slide anyone to win the Nationals, right? Bahahahaha! Yeah right, Kerry and Ian would wreck each other and every member of their family to win the Nationals. Give me a break, that's not a bash on the Madsen's, that's part of what I like about those boys, they will feed you a back tire, put you in the fence, and then Crack a beer and offer you one.
