I would like to see the list of drivers who plan to compete for the Championship. Do have to say, I went to Attica last friday and Robbie Pribnow was driving Brandon Thone's 94 and was impressive. Dont think he will be Championship level, but he should do ok.

Does anyone know what Balog is planning on?
Schmidt and Nimee would be my favorites.

I for one hope he stays where he was. If he runs IRA, it will take the excitement away from the Championship run, AND may make me rethink some of my trips to IRA races. This is not a slam on his talent. JMO.

I'd guess Rose will be with IRA.
I think Balog would have gone back to NSL for sure if their schedule wasn't so heavily based in Jackson at Knoxville.

So TQ will own a series, where the majority of the races will be won by a team he owns and almost half of the races in the series will be run at a track he owns
back to IRA...are they co-sanctioning anything with NSL or ASCoC this year? Those are always good shows.

Yep, and will pay 5k to win for each one. What a terrible thing to have in the Midwest..

IRA co-sanctions this year
Mowa at Lasalle on Apri 16
All Stars at Wilmot on May 21
Mowa at Lasalle on Aug. 27
Mowa at Sun Prairie on Aug. 28
No NSL co-sanctions this year. Guess after last year I think only 1 IRA regular finished in the top 10 at all the co-sanctioned shows with NSL they though it better to be seperate. The Richert Memorial at Cedar Lake is just an IRA event this year but the NSL are off that weekend so could see a few of them still drop in.

It may also have something to do with the NSL not racing around where the IRA is racing. Not too sure it mattered that the IRA didn't finish all to high in the standings. Yes, only one IRA regular finished in the top ten. Blake "No Brake" Nimee. Possible front runner for the title this year.....

Blake Nimee or Robbie Pribnow both fearless drivers!
Schmidt is just an average driver with good equipment.

Blake Nimee just announced that he will be running with the MOWA for points this year. With some occasional IRA races. Kinda bummed, he is a favorite of mine.

Also, I was really surprised the NSL didn't come back to Angell Park. That show seemed to be a success, big crowd, great car count. That was one of my favorite races I attended last year.

Apparently I am a moron and fell victim to a well executed April fool's post. Also, just read that Balog is planning on running 'a little bit of everything'. Not a bad idea. 2 weeks till the IRA kicks off their season! I would have to think that the same top 4 in points (from 2015) all have an excellent shot at taking the 2016 crown again. Kertscher coming back too (in Jason Johnson's former ride) , but I'm not entirely clear on if he can hit 100 percent of the points shows.

Hey, easy now. I'm very appreciative of what he's doing for the sport around here. I guess I wish NSL was traveling a bit more but I can understand the dynamics of it. Between Jackson and Huset's new deal, it'll be an interesting summer to follow!

Haha...didn't he get banned a couple years ago or something? I can't remember the exact circumstances.
Glad to hear Nimee isn't running MOWA.
