I guess hanging out with Josh Richards is sinking in I knew such domination would not go unnoticed. I wonder if Mr. Stewart asked Jesus into his heart as well.

I don't think this has anything to do with seeing a light as much as it has to do with probably money and a possible research edge. 1 thing to really disprove your theory is if Ford was so strong then why has Chevy won the manufacters title every year since 2003 and 16 out of the past 20years. Lets face it, Ford only has 1 real competitive team right now with Penske. Roush's performance over the past few seasons has been terrible by their standards, Richard Petty Motorsports is a mid pack team, Wood Brothers the same, then Front Row. I am sure Ford is desperate to get another successful team other than the Two Penske Cars.
With Chevy, they have to deal with Hendrickmostly and with Chevy that team has to play second fiddle to Hendrick since they have Junior, Johnson, had Gordon, and Kahne. I have always considered Stewart-Haas a sattelite Hendrick team since they get their engines and chassis from them in order to stay competitive but let'sface it, chain of command it goes Hendrick gets the best stuff and knowledge then Stewart. They also have to deal with Childress and Ganassi all being supported by Chevy. If they wanted to seperate themselves then its either Ford or Toyota.
Toyota only has the Gibbs cars now that are competitive and Truex which is essentially a satellite Gibbs car so that would have been an option as well since MWR went away last year. I am sure they just looked at what would be in their best interest for the future. I'm sure Ford is desperate to get more than 2cars that are consistenly competitive now so they see a 4car team they are going after them.
Chevy has 4 strong Hendrick cars, then a few competitive cars like Newman, Mcmurry, Larson, and even Menard.
Toyota has the 4 Gibbs cars + Truex Furniture Row
Ford has 2 Penske cars and once in a petty blue moon they get Almorla finsihing in the bottom top 10-15. You cannot win the manufacters title with that type of performance

Actually I do not know about TSR. Simply says Stewart-Haas. Although it will be interesting since Chevy Performace sponsors Schatz. We will soon see.
Hey are prayers might be answered...if Schatz has to race a Ford, then the competition may catch up now. Doubt it though as I think it is more about the driver than the equipment

No one dislikes NASCAR more than me sir. You are exactly right. I am the only one that cares here. The sport has ignored the hundreds of thousands of Ford fans that spend millions of dollars on entertainment long enough and chased them all away except me.
Tony has owned Ford powered open wheel dirt cars in the past. In fact JJ Yeley dominted in one just like Shatz does now not all that long ago. Although it did have the evil, dangerous, crazy, expensive and exotic canted valves like an early 1970s station wagon. Shatz would win the first night out in the watered down stuff the WoO allows now though.

Your use of the paragraph referring to the success of the Luna Ford sprint car is a bit much......the success of the car was pretty limited actually. Not saying that they didn't accomplish anything, but limited just the same. Two WoO titles when not running against Kinser and Swindell in those days is a pretty shallow feat. The WoO series in 1989 was especially dilluted. As for the Haggerstown 410 track record still holding up, I would imagine that has something to do with the engine being bolted in to an 1100 pound Karl Kinser sprinter. A good many track records from those days have held up until recent years.

Three of the top teams in your beloved WoO are owned by NASCAR drivers. One of the biggest sponsors for TSR has always been Chevrolet. Chevy signs are plastered around Stewart's Eldora. There is a NASCAR connection.

Would be much more impressed if a Ford held the track record at Knoxville. I think Tatnell has the track record there if I remember correctly. Was that a Ford??? As far as Schatz goes, he will win no matter what engine is in there.

I don't know what Late Models have to do with it. Their motors aren't legal in a sprint car.
