Motorsports writer Norm Bogan had a heart attack on 12/30 and his wife Pat took him to Kaiser where they immediately rushed him to another hospital for an angiogram. That is when they decided to do emergency open heart surgery that night. They had to do 5 bypasses and he is now home and feeling better each day. With luck, he will be good as new when the racing season begins.
Norm has a checkup tomorrow with the cardiologist.
