Like it or not boys, it's Randy Timms. He gets it done at every track he visits.
Money isn't everything, but it sure keeps your kids

I've always liked Randy Timms. But he can't hardly hit his ass if it is heavy. When they were all out on the front str8 he really cracked off the comment that every other track in the nation is dirt and SFS is mud. They're all on the same track. I don't know whether or not he's cheatin, but those heavy race tracks do somewhat close the gap between his equipment and everyone elses. kinda cuts off the huge advanatage of that 434.
So statewide: out of okc I think Anderson and Smith are the best. Northern OK I'd say Brandon Kenny, and maybe Roach or Weder. Anywhere and everywhere else...........Eddie Martin and Jason Hughes. Hughes probably actually being the best mod driver to come out of this state - currently.

I'll say Randy Timms Is the Best Modified Driver, and as far as Cheatin if having the best equipment and people on your team is cheatin, I guess the Sooners must be cheatin. But if you read the Topic the question was who is the best Modified driver. Randy finished 10th and missed 5 races at the fairgrounds, But sorry to say OKC is not the only racetrack in the US. Randy is currently 2nd in the USMTS Southern series Hughes is 4th and they run all over the south and you have to be able to drive every type of track and condition. (And they do check for TC and have found it on Cars before). Eddie Martin and Jason Hughes are full time driver that is what they do for a living. And yes they are very good. But to judge our talent you have to race at different tracks and against different drivers and for that reason my money is on Timms he has proven he can drive a racecar and very well at that.

Oklahoma has a lot of talent. Its hard to pick just one. So here are my top 5 based off what I've seen at big shows:
Jason Hughes
Eddie Martin
Randy Timms
Greg Skaggs
Chad Wheeler
These guy are also high up on my list so an honorable mention goes to: (in no particular order)
Mike Roach, Darren Hacker, Tony Anderson, Brandon Kenny, Tommy Weder Jr., Troy Gemmill, Brendon Gemmill, Travis Penrod, Buddy Honaker, Randy Frailey, Gary Andrews, Brad Worley, Jeff Autry, Curtis Allen, Keith Campbell, Mark Davis, Casey McClaskey, Tate Cole, Stanley Reed Jr., Alan Oliva, C.A. Nix, and Bobby Smith Jr.
Again, my choices are based off of how I've seen these drivers fair at big shows and events where other" big dogs" from around the area and nation have competed.
I like dirt!
