I'm pretty sure they have no desire to do that. This is just a shitty deal for everybody involved.

Yes that was one year when the race was postponed and run the next week without the Outlaw sanction and the Outlaw purse.

The year I am talking about, the race was won by Jason Meyers, one of 5 Outlaw wins in a row. He won the next night at Rolling Wheels also.



The year the National Open was moved to the following weekend was 2011 when the prelim night was run 9/30 and the Open itself was run 10/7/11.  In 2008 the National Open was unsanctioned and Cody won, but that was a few weeks later.

Schats be fits most from more points events on posse soil as he puts points between himself and the remainder of the travelers who will finish woth more spots between the selves and the 15 car...look at all recent year points tallies before and after visits to posse soil.

A one night show benefits those who need provisionals during the PA swing...


Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH 
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH
