You have no idea how bad that place really was. Ive seen it ALL up there. They weekly classes were the ones that really suffered.   Track conditions and the state of the facility are just the tip of the iceberg. This is also a game changer for sprint car racing around here. Couldnt have went to a better guy.

Doubtful at best.  To run head to head against the Grove on Fridays I think is outright foolish.  Let me qualify this alittle.

1.  The Grove has 4-6 Outlaw shows a year.

2.  The big name locals make more money running one Outlaw show vs 3-4 regular shows typically.

My personal opinion is that the teams will stay where the money is as far as 410's go and that's the Grove.  To run against Lincoln would be absolutely insane in my opinion.

Personal opinion is they are going to take a hard look at maybe running 360's and 305's as a normal show and perhaps looking at various late model / modified divisions as well.  The various special 410 races would be run on Sundays like they do now I would think.

The Outlaw sanction will dictate where folks spend most of their time IMO.  It would also be insane to run against Lincoln on Saturdays IMO.

would be a better home for the super sportsman than the grove on sat. nights, the midgets could use a home track to fill in when they're not travelling... friday nights for the late models closer to home, 358 late models could use a home track..., there's all sorts of possibilities for racers that dosen't step on other tracks shows too bad. either way, ssp will be better off than they are now. all depends on what scott needs to keep the doors open.

p.s.- hope he calls alan krietzer for help/advice

Todd Fisher did what he could. They at least resurrected the place but he didn't have enough money to run it. The big purse NST race out of the gate that didn't draw any fans also had to hurt.

The nst crowd was just amazing

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

I think this is great. Give the grove a reason to get their heads out of their a $$. Yes the grove is a big deal but it also is one of the hardest on engines. Look how many cars lincoln gets and that place is easy on engines. I think if ssp runs 410s a lot of lincoln regulars will make the trip because they can ra e 2 times a week and not have to worry about hurting a power plant

Yes, this a win win situation for sprint car racing , other cars which will run there , for fans, make it a cleaner, safer and overall  a more feasible facility . Scott, has  his work cut out for him at Susky . Now he needs the fan and car support to make it work . Todd Fisher did a good job running a speedy program on Sunday and hopefully that will continue .

No todd fisher did not do what he could. Thats what you people dont understand. Hes literally said that hes been making money and putting it into other things. Literally. To our faces.  Do not defend todd and rhonda fisher on this. Ask anybody.

I hope he DOES NOT CALL Alan Krietzer.  The racing scene needs a breath of fresh air and some new insight.  Raising ticket prices to cover the additional purse / profit is not promoting.

Really, because you know his personal finances and bank records?  Its amazing what people think they know - what a joke.  Todd it very tight and quiet on his personal finances, even people very close to him do not know what he has or doesn't have so to make a statement like that is pure ignorance.  So who are these faces other then you?

Todd was partialy doomed in the start as Allen K was out to get him from the get go! because he did not get the deal for the purchase. That with the economy he was on a stairway hard to manage. He did alot with what he had coming in.

Scott is a class act and a good businessman.  He has probably done lots of homeworkwith regards to this big step and I certainly hope he has great success with whatever they pursue at Susky.  I wish him well!!!

Any WORD IF THEY ARE STILL GOING TO RUN THE OCTOBER RACE againt Fred AT PATH VALLEY, I think it would be wise to either move it or cancel as most cars and drivers will go to the Path.

Hope with Scott next year they make it back into Speedweek.
