A $10,000 prize is on the line for the winning driver of the USAC National Midgets at the Gold Crown Midget Nationals tonight. Last night Tanner Thorsen held off an early run by Steve Buckwalter and a late charge by Thomas Messeraul to win $3000 Midget A Main. In MOWA sprint competiton Brad Loyet won his first MOWA event by battling the track, traffic and eventually by getting past Paul Nienhiser for the win.
Tonights event pays the Midget Winner $10000 and $2000 for the MOWA Sprints.
