PETALUMA USAC/CRA MUFFLER & TARP RULE
NOTICE TO USAC/CRA COMPETITORS: Petaluma Speedway has a strict 90db at 100 feet state mandated sound rule and the Flowmaster “Suitcase” (Part 53545-USAC) is the track legal muffler. The "Flowmaster Suitcase" is also the recommended/preferred muffler at Chico's Silver Dollar Speedway. If the sound levels are broken, the racer will be disqualified and not allowed to compete. In addition, tarps are mandatory under all race cars in the pit area at Petaluma. The tarps must stick out at least one foot on each side.
